Lena's pov
The Interview day
I stood outside the offices of Wanderlust Travels, fidgeting with my scarf as i tried to calm my nerves. I had spent hours preparing for this interview, researching the company and practicing my responses to common questions.
As i took a deep breath and pushed open the door, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who offered me a warm smile. "Hi there! You must be Lena. We've been expecting you."
I nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. "That's me. Thanks for having me in today."
The receptionist nodded and picked up the phone. "Let me just call Rachel to come get you. She's our marketing director and will be conducting your interview today."
A few minutes later, a woman with a bright smile and a stylish bob appeared in the reception area. "Hi Lena! I'm Rachel. It's great to meet you."
As Rachel led me to a cozy conference room, they chatted about everything from the weather to their shared love of travel. I felt myself relaxing in Rachel's presence, sensing that this was a company where i could truly be myself.
The interview itself was a breeze, with Rachel asking thoughtful questions that allowed me to showcase my skills and experience. As we talked, i found myself feeling more and more at home, imagining myself working alongside Rachel and the rest of the Wanderlust Travels team.
As the interview drew to a close, Rachel smiled at me and said, "We'll be in touch soon to let you know our decision. But I have to say, I'm really impressed with your background and experience. You'd be a great fit for our team."
I beamed with pride, feeling a sense of hope and excitement that i hadn't feel in months. Maybe, just maybe, this was the start of something amazing.
