Himothy and Him's Origins : Origins of Power
---
Scene 1: A Shattered Past
The world they once knew had been cruel to them. Himothy and Him were born in different parts of the same bustling metropolis, where ordinary people lived mundane lives—until tragedy struck.
Himothy Hiori had once lived a peaceful life with his parents in a middle-class neighborhood. His father was a skilled scientist, obsessed with researching interdimensional energies, while his mother was a martial artist with deep ties to underground fighting circuits. His life had been filled with equal parts scientific curiosity and combat training.
Him Hayakatsu, on the other hand, was raised in a family of historians who studied ancient artifacts and lost civilizations. His father was a scholar, and his mother was an archaeologist. Unlike Himothy, he had never been physically trained, but he possessed an analytical mind and an insatiable hunger for knowledge.
One fateful night, both of their lives changed forever.
A mysterious organization known as The Eclipse Syndicate sought to claim power from different dimensions. Using forbidden technology, they opened unstable rifts between realities, hoping to extract energy sources from alternate worlds. Himothy's father, who had been working on stabilizing interdimensional travel, refused to cooperate with their destructive ambitions. As a result, the Syndicate orchestrated a brutal attack on his home.
Flames engulfed the house. Himothy, only 10 years old at the time, watched in horror as masked figures executed his parents before his eyes. He tried to fight, but he was powerless. The last thing he remembered was a deep voice whispering, "Survive... and find your destiny." Before he could react, the unstable energy from the Syndicate's experiment caused a sudden implosion, sending him through a portal into an unknown void.
Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Him experienced a similar tragedy. His parents had uncovered an ancient relic that supposedly held knowledge of past and future civilizations. The Syndicate wanted it. When his parents refused to hand it over, they were eliminated without hesitation. The relic shattered, releasing an energy wave that engulfed Him. It burned into his very soul, marking him with an unknown power before he lost consciousness.
When both boys awoke, they were changed forever.

Scene 2: The Birth of their Powers
Himothy woke up in a dimly lit underground laboratory. The air smelled of metal and chemicals. He was inside a facility run by rogue scientists who experimented on individuals exposed to interdimensional energy. These experiments were designed to harness the abilities of those who had been marked by the Syndicate's destruction.
For years, he was subjected to grueling tests. His body, altered by the energy he absorbed, developed Copying and Stealing Abilities. Whenever he was forced into a test fight against another captive, he would instinctively mimic their techniques. He could replicate physical abilities, energy attacks, and even minor supernatural powers. But there was a catch: the more powerful the ability, the harder it was to maintain.
Himothy spent years mastering this power, perfecting the art of imitation. Eventually, when the facility was raided by a rival group, he escaped. Alone and without purpose, he wandered the city—until he met Him.
Him had undergone a different transformation. After the ancient relic exploded, the energy embedded itself into his DNA. His body adapted, granting him the same ability to copy and steal powers, but in a different way. Instead of purely mimicking, his power allowed him to absorb techniques and store them permanently if he practiced them enough.
Both of them, scarred by loss and reborn with strange abilities, found each other during school orientation. It didn't take long before they realized their shared trauma and ambitions.

Scene 3: The Path of Combat – Learning Karate
Although their hax abilities made them powerful in theory, they quickly realized that raw power meant nothing without skill.
Himothy, despite his talent in copying techniques, lacked formal martial arts training. He only had instinct and a basic understanding of movement. Him was even worse off, having never fought a day in his life. They needed to become warriors.
For months, they trained at an old dojo on the outskirts of the city. The dojo master, Grandmaster Raiken, was an elderly but strict martial artist who believed in discipline above all else. He rarely took in students, but something about the boys intrigued him.
"If you want to survive, you must master not just your power, but your body," he told them.
Himothy, already possessing enhanced reflexes from his past, adapted quickly. He became skilled in counterattacks and evasive maneuvers, relying on speed rather than brute strength. Him, however, struggled. But his perseverance paid off—over time, he mastered precision strikes and powerful finishing moves.
Their training lasted two years. By the end, they had not only learned Karate but also honed their ability to incorporate copied techniques into their combat style.
Him developed a style that combined precision and overwhelming force, using his ability to permanently absorb the best techniques he encountered.
Himothy, on the other hand, refined his style into one based on adaptability. He would analyze his opponent, copy their moves, and outmaneuver them with their own strengths.

Scene 4: A New Mission
By the age of 14, Himothy and Him had finally become strong—not just in ability, but in will. They had survived tragedies, trained their bodies, and unlocked the potential of their powers.
Yet, it wasn't enough.
"We're just humans in one world," Himothy said one evening, watching the city skyline. "There's an entire multiverse out there, filled with beings far stronger than us."
Him nodded. "Then we'll find them. We'll surpass them. No matter what it takes."
Their plan was simple:
1. Build a way to travel across different anime and fictional universes.
2. Absorb and copy as many abilities as possible.
3. Become the strongest beings in existence.
With the knowledge from Himothy's late father's research and the remains of the ancient relic Him's parents once guarded, they built the first version of their Multiversal Portal Device.
As the device whirred to life, a glowing rift opened before them.
Him smirked. "Ready?"
Himothy grinned. "Always."
Together, they stepped into the unknown, their journey to power officially beginning.
