Chapter 4: Training in the Dragon Ball Universe
1. Arrival and Confrontation with Frieza
As the portal to the Dragon Ball universe opens, Himothy and Him step into a desolate wasteland filled with ominous energy. Before they can get their bearings, a powerful figure descends from the sky—Frieza, in his Golden Form, flanked by a small army of soldiers.
"How quaint," Frieza sneers, his piercing gaze scanning the newcomers. "Two more pests who think they can challenge me."
Himothy steps forward, his hand on the hilt of his sword. "We're not here to fight you," he says calmly, but Frieza's arrogance leaves no room for diplomacy.
The ensuing battle is brutal. Despite combining their abilities—Cryokinesis, Umbrakinesis, and Sage Mode—they are completely outmatched. Frieza toys with them, demonstrating his overwhelming power, effortlessly countering their attacks and delivering devastating blows.
As Himothy and Him lie on the ground, battered and struggling to move, Frieza charges a massive energy blast to finish them off. At the last moment, Whis materializes, stopping Frieza's attack with a mere flick of his finger.
Whis tilts his head, observing the duo. "Interesting. You've endured far more than most would have. Perhaps you're worth training after all."
2. Meeting Goku and Friends
Whis transports them to Earth, where they are introduced to Goku, Vegeta, and the Z Fighters. The group is initially skeptical, but Goku, always eager to train with strong fighters, senses their hidden potential.
"You've got something special," Goku says with a grin. "But you're gonna need to start with the basics if you want to survive here."
Vegeta, less enthusiastic, adds, "If you can't even hold your own against Frieza, you're nothing but dead weight."
With that, Goku suggests they train with Master Roshi, the legendary martial arts master, to develop a solid foundation.
3. Training with Master Roshi
For 3½ grueling years, Himothy and Him undergo intense training under Master Roshi on his remote island.
• Martial Arts Mastery:They spend countless hours perfecting their combat techniques, learning to harness their physical and mental energy with precision. Master Roshi's unorthodox methods—carrying massive boulders, dodging energy blasts, and sparring against impossible odds—push them to their limits.
• Kamehameha Training:Under Roshi's guidance, they master the iconic Kamehameha wave. Himothy's blasts are sharp and controlled, while Him's are raw and devastating, reflecting their respective styles.
• Kaioken X10:The most demanding part of their training is learning Kaioken, a technique that temporarily boosts power and speed at the cost of severe energy strain. Himothy excels in precision, using Kaioken X10 to enhance his reflexes and swordsmanship. Him, meanwhile, uses it for raw power, delivering explosive strikes.Their bond grows stronger as they support each other through the grueling challenges, their resolve to face Frieza again unshakable.
4. Progression and Development
Over time, their power levels increase exponentially. The abilities they brought from previous universes—Sage Mode, Cryokinesis, Umbrakinesis—begin to integrate seamlessly with their newfound ki-based techniques.
Himothy develops a unique hybrid style, combining the fluidity of Sage Mode with the raw power of Kaioken. Him, on the other hand, merges his electrokinesis with his ki, creating devastating lightning-infused energy blasts.
5. Preparing for the Next Step
As their training with Master Roshi concludes, Goku and Vegeta return, impressed by their progress.
"You're ready for the next level," Vegeta says, a rare note of approval in his voice.
Whis appears once more, offering them the opportunity to train on Beerus' Planet. "If you wish to surpass your current limits, you'll need to learn from the best."
With renewed determination, Himothy and Him step through the portal to Beerus' Planet, ready to face even greater challenges.
