Chapter 4 - Isolyn

As Damon was walking behind the beautiful and mysterious creature, he was finding it hard not to pounce on her, because of her enticing large ass.

She was the most exquisite piece of of art his ever laid his eyes upon. Her pale blue skin glistened from the sun's rays, she had dragon claws much like his own, which made him realise she was the target of the mission.

Her dark blue hair reached all the way to her calf, making Damon wonder if there weren't any salon's available in this world. But what made this creature more impressionable in Damon's eyes was her pristine sculpted face, and her slitted dragon eyes.

The sclera and the iris were dark, devoid of any other colour, but the pupils, were enlarged, slitted and Icy blue in colour, making her seem odd, mysterious and somewhat aloof. The other things Damon noted was the creature's webbed hands, and elf-like ears.

The creature was wearing a short skirt made out of big leaves and flowers, the same material covered her perky breasts.

Damon didn't like the silence, so he walked up to her. The creature seemed to be aware of the distance between the two of them, because she suddenly became wooden, her eyes continually nervously glancing his way.

Her face seemed to flush with a deep hue of blue, which Damon made an educated guess that she was blushing.

"My name is Damon, what's your?" He introduced himself, while staring forward, not to put her on the spot.

The creature didn't respond, and a long silence stretched between them for what felt like hours, until they made it to a cavern.

Inside, it was spacious, and the further they went inside, the more bright it became. There seemed to be glowing stalactites illuminating the place with bright myriad colours.

They finally reached a place, where it looked like the girl was staying in.

There was a bed, made out of strange large cotton like flowers. Looking around, there wasn't anything else as evidence that someone was actually staying here, other than the bed.

Damon imagined how lonely it would be, to stay in an isolated place, totally removed from civilization, with no one by your side, always alone. It made him wonder if he was ever truly lonely, if he still had something to look forward to. But looking around this place, other than laying on the strange bed, and facing the ceiling, there wasn't much to do.

'Not many would be able to retain their sanity from such a harsh way of living.'

The beautiful creature went to seat down on the strange bed, looking everywhere but at him. Damon wasn't completely sure about his analysis but he felt like the creature was embarrassed to show a guest her living arrangement.

Damon slightly shook his head, and went to seat on the strange bed, a distance away from the creature. At the same time he sat down, a system alert sounded in his mind.

[Ding! Mission Alert, Choose between using your Empath Skill on the target to get her to ease up, and be more comfortable with you, as to let you in on her pain and past. This will help you understand what she needs in order to heal.

Or you can Choose to you use your Mind Infiltration on her, depriving her of her free will, imprinting a slave symbol on her soul, making her yours then fucking her brains out however you please.

The List Of Rewards For The First Choice, Are As Follows;

- Advancing To Evolved E-Ranker

- A Sealed Ex-Class Dragon Sheath Of The Fire Excalibur

- Credit Points

The List Of Rewards For The Second Choice, Are As Follows;

- Mind Of Depravity

- The Eye Of Fate

- Credit Points]

Damon blinked, and thought he didn't hear right, that's until he faced a holographic screen detailing everything the system just said. He blinked again, and wondered if he was seeing things.

What did this mean? It meant that the system was making him choose between the righteous path, and the depraved path. Damon convinced himself he wasn't tempted but he was more curious about the rewards of the second, as they sounded more appealing.

He didn't exactly know what the Mind Of Depravity really is, but it sure looked to be a far better reward than advancing a single major rank, which is something he will eventually do, whereas the Mind Of Depravity is probably a once in a life time reward.

'System, can you explain the second choice rewards?'

[I will tell you after you choose.]

'That's a load of bullshit and you know it, how am I supposed to make better choices without being given all the details?'

[Fuck if I know, just choose already, while you might not realise it, the young lady is probably racking her brains trying to come up with a topic to talk about.]

Damon sighed, but didn't deliberate from his already made choice.

'I pick the first choice.'

[Are you certain?]

'Yes, I am, after all I'm not a monster.'

[Ding! Affirmative, Host may begin.]

Damon sighed, and felt a slight pinch of regret for not choosing the second choice. But he instantly silenced thought from the darker parts of his mind, and turned to face the mysterious creature.

He scooted closer to her, while the creature scooted further away, until she had no place run to. Damon used this chance to close the space between them, and hastily took her hands to his.

In order to effectively use an Empath skill to its fullest potential, he needed physical contact otherwise with metal fortitude this creature might have garnered from her traumatic experiences, he might as well give up.

Upon contact the creature froze up, and she seemed to exude an aura of fear and disgust. Damon tapped into his mana on instinct, and guided it to the part of the brain that's responsible for sympathy.

A different kind of energy oozed out of his body, and filled the room with a sort of calming and trusting properties. This weird energy seemed to possess the creature, and her fear immediately went away, and so did her disgust.

With an amicable smile, hiding the guilt deep within his heart, Damon asked, "What's you name?"

The creature looked into his eyes, and gave him a small smile, "My names is.. Isolyn."
