Aaron pushed his speed to the limit, weaving effortlessly through the buildings of Seireitei without pause.

In no time, he arrived near the Shin'ō Academy.

Just as he was about to leap onto a rooftop, a familiar Reiatsu flared up behind him.

"You've returned."

A soft voice rang out from behind Aaron.

Recognizing the familiar tone, he halted his forward-leaning stance and turned around.

There, standing calmly, was Unohana Retsu, gazing at him in silence.

"Well, what a coincidence, Unohana. I didn't expect to run into you here."

Aaron smiled and waved at her.

However, Unohana remained composed, neither responding nor reacting immediately.

Seeing her silence, Aaron maintained his easygoing demeanor.

"This is no coincidence," Unohana eventually said. "I came here to assist Seinosuke."

She paused before continuing, her voice carrying an undertone of hesitation. "But you..."

"Me?" Aaron tilted his head slightly. "I'm just here to take care of a small matter."

Unohana studied him for a long moment, then sighed. "I admit your strength is formidable. I even gave up chasing after you. But do you understand the consequences of what you did today?"

Aaron immediately understood what she was referring to.

"You mean Ichimaru Gin?" He chuckled. "That's hardly anything to worry about."

Then his expression turned playful. "But what about you? Why haven't you gone to report to the First Division yet? Aren't you afraid they'll investigate your connection with me—a wanted man?"

For the first time, a flicker of sorrow appeared in Unohana's usually calm eyes.

She met his gaze directly and said, "After all these years, you're still the same as before."

Aaron raised an eyebrow. "And how was I back then?"

Rather than answering, Unohana turned with a soft scoff and walked away.

Aaron watched her retreating figure, pondering her unusual behavior. A wry smile formed on his lips as he turned his focus back to the Shin'ō Academy.

The strange Reiatsu that had caught his attention earlier was emanating from there.

First Division Assembly Hall

Yamamoto Genryūsai Shigekuni sat silently, eyes closed, lost in thought.

The captains and lieutenants assembled before him stood rigidly, their gazes fixed on the stretcher at the center of the room.

Matsumoto Rangiku bit her lower lip, trembling slightly as she turned her head away.

The atmosphere in the hall was heavy with solemnity.

A deep sigh echoed through the chamber, adding to the oppressive mood.

After exchanging a few hushed words with Yamamoto, Chōjirō Sasakibe stepped forward.

"The suspect responsible for the murder of Captain Ichimaru Gin has been identified."

His voice rang through the room, commanding attention.

"Following extensive investigation, we have confirmed that the perpetrator is none other than Aaron—the man who defected from Soul Society one hundred and twelve years ago."

A murmur rippled through the captains, but none interrupted.

"Given his extraordinary level of danger, we have unanimously decided to raise Seireitei's security status to the highest alert level."

Sasakibe's gaze swept across the assembled officers.

"Be advised: This individual may possess items or abilities capable of concealing his Reiatsu. All squads are to conduct thorough searches in their assigned areas. If there is any sign of him, do not engage alone. Report immediately."

As soon as his words fell, a chorus of voices responded in unison.

"Yes, sir!"

Yamamoto slowly opened his eyes. With a heavy thud, he struck his cane against the wooden floor, his tone brooking no argument.

"This meeting is adjourned."

As the staff responsible for funeral arrangements carried Ichimaru Gin's body away, the captains began dispersing in groups.

Aizen Sōsuke glanced around subtly, the corner of his lips curling ever so slightly.

As he stepped through the large wooden doors, he casually strolled toward the Fifth Division's barracks.

Following closely behind, Hinamori Momo spoke in a hesitant, almost nervous voice.

"Captain Aizen… would you like me to take the others on patrol while you handle squad affairs?"

Aizen halted mid-step at her words.

Turning to face her, he offered his usual gentle smile. "Hinamori, I appreciate your thoughtfulness."

His expression remained serene. "However, as captain of the Fifth Division, it would be unbecoming of me to withdraw at such a time."

He placed a hand lightly on her head. "Focus on your duties, and leave the rest to me."

Hinamori's cheeks flushed, and she stammered incoherently.

Just then, a tall, wild figure flashed past them.

It was Zaraki Kenpachi, with Kusajishi Yachiru perched on his shoulder.

"Ajian, hurry, hurry! That Reiatsu is close!" Yachiru exclaimed, eagerly patting Zaraki's shoulder.

In a blur, they vanished from sight.

Around the same time, Unohana Retsu passed by Aizen and Hinamori.

She gave them a brief nod and continued on her way at a leisurely pace.

Aizen's eyes narrowed slightly as he watched her leave.

Then, with a faint smile, he turned back to Hinamori.

"Let's go."

"Yes, Captain Aizen!" Hinamori hurried to follow.

Elsewhere in Seireitei, Aaron adjusted his spiritual garment and landed lightly on the ground.

Navigating through the Shin'ō Academy's grounds, he moved swiftly toward his target.

After searching for a while, he arrived at a secluded courtyard.

Above the entrance, a large plaque bore the words "Zongdai."

A white spiritual barrier enveloped the entire structure, pulsing faintly with spiritual energy.

Deep within the courtyard, the strange Reiatsu flickered in and out of perception.

Aaron leaped into the air, extending a hand to dismantle the barrier.

As his figure disappeared inside, elsewhere in Seireitei, within a dimly lit mansion, a pale, androgynous man smirked wickedly.

Lifting his Zanpakutō, he slowly rose to his feet.
