A few days later, Aaron, while preparing lesson plans, received a notice from the school about a new transfer student joining his class. Recalling his recent encounter with Rukia Kuchiki, he had a strong suspicion about who it would be.

The next day, a staff member from the admissions office brought Rukia to Aaron's office before quickly leaving.

After graduating from the Spiritual Arts Academy, Rukia never imagined she'd become a high school student again. Her surprise grew when she recognized Aaron, who was now her homeroom teacher. She vividly remembered the peculiar way he had looked at her during their previous encounter.

"I can't sense any spiritual energy fluctuations from him. Was it just my imagination?" Rukia thought to herself, momentarily lost in her own musings.

"Rukia Kuchiki, is that correct?" Aaron asked, glancing at her student file with a polite smile.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Rukia quickly responded with a smile, "Yes, teacher. My name is Rukia Kuchiki. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Aaron nodded and said, "I'll be taking the first class today. Come along so I can introduce you to your new classmates."

The two entered Class 1-3 shortly after. Standing before the students, Aaron announced, "Class, we have a new student joining us today. Please welcome her warmly! Rukia, would you like to introduce yourself?"

At the back of the class, Kurosaki Ichigo, staring out the window in boredom, almost fell out of his chair when he saw Rukia smiling on the podium. Aaron noticed Ichigo's reaction, a subtle gleam of curiosity flashing in his eyes.

Over the following month, Aaron observed the gradual transformations in Kurosaki Ichigo, Orihime Inoue, Yasutora Sado, and Uryū Ishida. Though skipping classes was technically against school rules, Aaron overlooked it. After all, this was the world of Shinigami, and he himself was no stranger to bending the rules in his youth.

One day, after finishing work early, Aaron left the school to unwind. As he strolled through Karakura Town, he felt a sudden eruption of spiritual energy—hundreds of varying levels appearing all over the area. Sensing their rapid disappearance, he smirked and decided to head to his favorite pub.

Meanwhile, in the Soul Society's Seireitei, alarms echoed through the Twelfth Division's Technology Development Bureau. Screens across the lab displayed hundreds of small white dots scattered over Karakura Town, representing Hollow signatures. As the Shinigami scrambled to analyze the situation, a single red dot—marking a Gillian-class Menos Grande—began to grow larger on one of the screens.

Ajin, the Third Seat of the Twelfth Division and deputy head of the bureau, stepped forward, frowning at the data. "Report!" he commanded.

A technician responded promptly, "Multiple Hollow signatures have been detected in Karakura Town, but they're disappearing rapidly. However, a Gillian-level Menos Grande has also appeared!"

Ajin studied the screen, his expression grim. "It's rare for so many Hollows to show up at once. Someone must be taking them out... but what's causing this? And where did that Gillian come from?"

"Inform the Captain and all relevant squads immediately!" he ordered.

"Yes, sir!"

After leaving the izakaya, Aaron felt the fading spiritual energy signatures and chuckled. "Karakura Town sure is lively today," he mused. Based on the sequence of events, he deduced that Uryū Ishida had likely provoked Ichigo with his Hollow-summoning challenge.

As he walked, a massive spatial rift tore open above him. A Gillian Menos Grande, its towering form emerging from the rift, roared in anger. A crimson glow began to gather in its mouth as it prepared a Cero blast aimed directly downward.

Aaron sighed, his expression darkening. "Of all places, it had to be above my head," he muttered. A wave of overwhelming spiritual pressure erupted from him, shaking the surrounding air. The Gillian froze, trembling under the weight of the Reiatsu. Though it instinctively tried to back away, its fully charged Cero was already beyond containment.

As Aaron glared at the Gillian, his eyes filled with icy killing intent. The creature, as if sensing its natural predator, swallowed the charged Cero in a desperate attempt to avoid further provocation. The result was a massive internal explosion, sending the Menos Grande retreating back through the spatial rift with a wail.

Elsewhere in Karakura Town, Rukia, Ichigo, and Uryū stood frozen, having witnessed the bizarre encounter from a distance.

"Did... did that Gillian just defeat itself?" Rukia stammered in disbelief.

Ichigo and Uryū exchanged blank looks, equally stunned.

At Urahara Shōten, Kisuke Urahara and Tessai Tsukabishi observed the scene unfold from afar. Urahara adjusted his hat, his usual grin absent as he muttered, "He didn't even lift a finger, but that Gillian ran scared..."

Tessai, equally perplexed, remarked, "It seems our old teacher isn't someone to take lightly."

Urahara's lips twitched into an uneasy smile. "No kidding."
