As Yamamoto's majestic and terrifying Reiatsu erupted, the atmosphere in the room became oppressive.

Standing beside him, Ōetsu Nimaiya, the Sword God, stepped back and exclaimed, "Hey, hey, Yamamoto! What are you doing?"

Nimaiya shot a wary glance toward Aaron, concerned the young man might collapse under the immense pressure. Yet, Aaron stood unmoved, gazing calmly at Yamamoto.

Despite the overwhelming spiritual pressure bearing down on him, Aaron made no defensive moves, allowing Yamamoto's Reiatsu to crash into him like an unrelenting tide. Yamamoto, observing this resilience, narrowed his eyes. A glint of intrigue crossed his face as he deliberately increased his output.

The force intensified, yet Aaron remained unshaken. Like a lighthouse amidst a stormy sea, his presence was steady, his expression serene.

"Hmph?" Yamamoto grunted softly, his piercing gaze scrutinizing the younger man. His curiosity grew as Aaron released his own Reiatsu, countering Yamamoto's increasing spiritual force.

Through the heightened tension, Aaron activated his sensory abilities, observing Yamamoto's spiritual power surging beyond its original strength. What had started at 100,000 units now climbed to an astonishing 150,000.

Yamamoto, though composed, was surprised. He had initially intended only to test Aaron's strength. Never did he anticipate that even half of his peak power would fail to shake his opponent. His interest deepened, pushing him to escalate the clash further.

As Yamamoto's Reiatsu surged again, Aaron's spiritual power rose to match, creating a cataclysmic equilibrium. The atmosphere crackled with energy, a testament to their parity.

Nimaiya watched in disbelief, his eyes wide. "Unreal..." he muttered. He had always held faith in Aaron's potential, especially after hearing of his survival in Hueco Mundo. But this? This was beyond his expectations.

The Sword God's shock grew. For someone to rival Yamamoto in raw power was extraordinary. Even among the Royal Guard, only a select few could stand against the Captain-Commander.

Elsewhere in the Soul Society, the duel of Reiatsu did not go unnoticed. At the Eleventh Division barracks, a woman with long black hair, dressed in the distinct black shihakusho and white haori of the Gotei 13, turned her gaze toward the First Division. Her eyes narrowed as she felt the oppressive spiritual pressure.

Kenpachi Retsu Unohana, the first Kenpachi, frowned. The two presences were both formidable and unsettlingly familiar. Yet, something had changed. A sinister undertone lingered in one of the spiritual signaturesā€”something foreign and hostile.

"You've finally returnedā€¦" Unohana murmured softly, her voice carrying both curiosity and foreboding.

Back at the First Division, Kuchiki Ginrei, who had recently departed the barracks, froze in his tracks. The massive clash of Reiatsu sent chills through him. He released his own spiritual energy to withstand the overwhelming force.

"Thisā€¦ this is impossible," he whispered, his mind flashing back to memories of five centuries prior. The same suffocating pressure, the same terrorā€”it all felt like a nightmare returning to haunt him.

Meanwhile, Nimaiya finally broke the silence in Yamamoto's office. "Hey, Yamamoto! Knock it off! You two want to bring the whole place down?"

At Nimaiya's shout, the spiritual energy in the room began to dissipate. Aaron's long black hair settled, the storm of Reiatsu fading into calm. Yamamoto, now composed, nodded slightly. "Impressive," he said softly.

Aaron met the Captain-Commander's gaze, his expression unreadable.

Yamamoto stepped closer, his eyes filled with rare approval. "You haven't disappointed me, Aaron. Tell me, what are your plans now?"

Aaron replied in a measured tone, "It was merely luck that allowed me to endure. I am grateful for your acknowledgment, Captain-Commander. As for my plansā€¦ I haven't decided yet."

Nimaiya laughed, ruffling his hair in exasperation. "You're unbelievable, kid! Yamamoto, with his strength now, you've got to make him a captain, no?"

Yamamoto ignored Nimaiya's jest and addressed Aaron directly. "Would you consider becoming the Lieutenant of the First Division?"

Nimaiya chimed in, "What an offer! Kid, take it! The First Division Lieutenant isn't just any rank."

Yamamoto's calm exterior betrayed a hint of hope. But Aaron shook his head. "I'm sorry, Captain-Commander. After spending so many years alone in Hueco Mundo, I've grown used to living without constraints. If I must accept a position, I'd prefer one that allows me
