After causing such a massive disturbance, Aaron decided not to avoid responsibility entirely. However, to minimize further consequences, he resolved to discuss the situation with someone privately.

Emerging from his ruined residence, he found a crowd already gathered, whispering amongst themselves.

"Isn't he the instructor who's barely ever taught since joining the academy?"

"That's right! It seems he caused that huge commotion earlier!"

"Good thing we were in East District 1 at the time. We might've been caught up in it otherwise!"

"What exactly happened? I can't make heads or tails of this!"

"You don't know? Apparently, he used some kind of forbidden technique and absorbed the Reiatsu of many lower-class students!"

"What? That's terrifying!"

Ignoring the distant chatter, Aaron used several consecutive Shunpo steps to quickly move toward the gate of the Spiritual Arts Academy, vanishing from sight in moments.

Upon reaching the outskirts of the Royal Guard's residence, he spotted a familiar figure—none other than Ōetsu Nimaiya.

"Hey, kid! Took you long enough! Come on, follow me to the Phoenix Palace!" Nimaiya called out enthusiastically.

Hearing this, Aaron promptly followed him to the Phoenix Palace. Once inside its grand meeting hall, Aaron casually found a seat.

Nimaiya paced around him, looking him over. "You caused that disturbance earlier, didn't you? I gotta say, you've got guts!"

Aaron smiled awkwardly, responding, "It seems things turned out more noticeable than I expected…"

"Noticeable? That's putting it mildly!" Nimaiya exclaimed. "I don't know what kind of crazy stunt you pulled, but you've drained Reiatsu from dozens of students and caused significant damage! You're in some serious trouble now."

Through their conversation, Aaron learned from Nimaiya that his actions had already been reported to Central 46. While there were potential solutions, Nimaiya explained that some individuals were deliberately exaggerating the incident for their own gain.

Even though the Reiatsu absorption had been unintentional, it remained a serious offense. Aaron couldn't help but feel frustrated. He understood that Yamamoto and Nimaiya would likely advocate on his behalf, but Central 46's notorious rigidity and pedantic approach left him doubtful.

Despite his considerable strength, which was comparable to that of a captain, Aaron knew it would be foolish to antagonize all of Seireitei. He also realized that Yamamoto himself would not hesitate to intervene if things escalated further.

Resigning himself to the situation, Aaron decided to let Central 46 pass judgment while he continued to train and prepare.

"Come on, kid, tell me what you were doing to cause such a commotion," Nimaiya asked curiously.

After a moment's thought, Aaron replied, "Master Swordsmith, it's nothing too complicated. I just discovered my Zanpakutō's true name and achieved Shikai."

Nimaiya's eyes widened in shock. "You caused that just by unlocking Shikai? Kid, if you ever achieve Bankai, you might turn the entire Seireitei upside down!"

Aaron could only smile in response.

Nimaiya grew serious. "Look, I can't help you much this time. The Royal Guard's primary duty is to protect the Spirit King. Yamamoto's stubborn as ever, and Central 46 is, well, Central 46. But I doubt they'll act too harshly. You're too valuable, both you and that 'little girl'—you're rare talents."

After a while, Aaron left the Phoenix Palace and returned to the Spiritual Arts Academy.

To his surprise, the academy quietly repaired his residence but otherwise didn't contact him. Grateful for the reprieve, Aaron spent his time communicating with his Zanpakutō and refining his skills, even improving his mastery of Kidō using his unique insights.

A week later, while meditating in his courtyard, a sudden knock at the door drew his attention.

The visitor was none other than Chōjirō Sasakibe, the First Division's lieutenant.

After a brief journey, they arrived outside Yamamoto's office.

"The Captain-Commander has been waiting. Come with me," Sasakibe said, patting Aaron on the shoulder.

Inside the office, Yamamoto sat at his desk, exuding his usual imposing presence. Nimaiya lounged nearby, looking uncharacteristically serious.

"Captain-Commander, I've brought him as requested," Sasakibe said, bowing before excusing himself.

The room fell silent.

After a long pause, Yamamoto finally spoke, "You know why you've been summoned. Is there anything you wish to say before I deliver Central 46's decision?"

Aaron met the Captain-Commander's gaze without flinching. "Captain-Commander, you know the details of this incident. I have nothing further to add."

Yamamoto's eyes narrowed slightly before he nodded.

"Very well. Then I shall now deliver Central 46's judgment…"
