Chapter Five: The Dark Points
Days had passed since Elias's last test in the forest, and he began to feel as though the mystery was wrapping itself around him more and more. He was no longer just a young man in a new world; he had become part of a bigger game, a game where only dark forces and shadows lurked behind every corner. The words of the old man haunted him constantly: "A greater power awaits you in the shadows."
Today, the sun was about to set when the old man asked him to accompany him to a new place, one he had never mentioned before. "You are ready now to meet the one who controls everything here."
The man led Elias to a massive structure built from dark rocks, surrounded by incomplete walls through which strange energies seeped. The ground there was cracked, as if it had witnessed battles that had lasted for ages.
"This is the heart of the world you've entered, a place where only those with true power can live. Here, you will meet someone higher than you in the hierarchy," the old man said, opening a huge door and revealing a dark room with very faint light and dense fog in every corner.
As they entered, Elias felt something unnatural. There was a sense of pressure on his mind, as if the artificial intelligence inside his brain was struggling to adapt to this place.
"Welcome, Elias." A majestic voice came from the shadows, echoing through the room in a way that confused him.
A mysterious figure emerged from the darkness. Its energy was much greater than anyone Elias had encountered before. The man was tall, dressed in black, with a massive chain around his neck. But what caught Elias's attention most was the man's eyes, filled with power and malice. They were filled with emotions he couldn't interpret, but they seemed to know everything about his past.
"You're here because you carry a certain amount of power, but you need to understand this world before you become strong enough to resist it," the man spoke calmly, though his words seemed to carry more than just guidance.
"Elias, I want you to understand something fundamental. This world is not as it seems. If you are only seeking power, you will become nothing more than a tool in the hands of those who wish to use you." These words marked the beginning of a new test.
Suddenly, the warriors who had been watching Elias entered the room. Each of them carried dark energy similar to what Elias had felt in his previous battle. But this time, the atmosphere was charged with even more energy, as if they weren't just ordinary warriors, but part of a much larger system.
"Your test now is not just a fight. You must make a choice. If you want to be free, you will have to take a stand," the mysterious man said.
Elias felt something new inside him, something resembling rebellion. He knew this was a test he had to pass, but he was not ready to obey the orders of the forces that were trying to control him.
The battle began immediately, but it was unlike any fight he had faced before. It was a battle on the level of mind and spirit, where every move reflected Elias's deep thoughts and vision of what he wanted to become in this world.
In a moment of intense focus, Elias began to feel a force penetrating his mind, as if his artificial intelligence was interacting with his own energy in an unprecedented way. He had a choice: either to comply with the wishes of those around him, or to take a different path, a path that might expose him to greater danger.
In the end, Elias made his decision and used a power he didn't know he had. "I am not a tool for you." He said it with determination, directing his energy toward his opponents.
The light in the room began to shift, as if the world itself was losing its balance. Everything around him turned to chaos, and even the mysterious man seemed to be facing something beyond his abilities.
"You have chosen the dark path," the mysterious man said in a broken tone.
In that moment, the force surrounding Elias exploded through the room, making him feel something completely different. He was no longer just someone controlling his own energy; he had become part of a larger world, one where the scales constantly shifted, and enemies never ceased to emerge from the shadows.
