When Petunia agreed to what Light said, Light smiled broadly and felt seriously relieved. He was very happy that his sister had accepted what he had said.
Just as the two had returned to the dining table, Petunia seemed to have a question on her mind, Light saw the strange expression on her sister's face and then asked, "Did you have something to say, sister?" Petunia nodded her head and asked, "Yes...was this dream the reason why you packed all this house and all these supplies?"
Indeed, nothing escaped Petunia's eyes.
"Yes, sister. The day I woke up from the dream, all my troubles disappeared with the letter in the envelope you sent me. I was quite frightened because the dream I had was so realistic. I had lived in my dream for 6 months alone, and of course, this kicked the door of a trauma that would drive me crazy."
"As soon as I had the money I started working on it and I was able to buy as much stuff as I could and build the strongest house I could."
Light's words seemed to impress Petunia, who had never seen her younger brother do anything more enthusiastic than studying or calling her every day. After all, Petunia herself knew that she had always supported her younger brother and he had always done his best to support his older sister.
"Good for you, who knows, maybe this will save our lives." Petunia's words seemed to indicate that she firmly believed in Light. Light, on the other hand, was filled with great pride because of his sister's acceptance.
He knew very well that this time he would protect his sister whom he could not save before.
At that very moment, Light had an idea. Just as he was trying to cut the steak in front of him with a knife and fork, he could not stop his curiosity and spoke:
"Sis, what if we make the sales online and bring the money here through the banks or the people we sell to?"
Petunia must have immediately realised the logical flaw in the question when she heard the question because she suddenly rolled her eyes and then said, "And how are you going to keep all that money in this house? Selling all our assets is equivalent to almost £7 billion. Remember, the inheritance included the company assets, my personal assets are over two billion."
Of course, Petunia didn't know about her little brother's Sub-Space skill, and Light didn't want to show it to her right now, he would show it to her when the apocalypse came.
However, he really didn't want to go to London, even if something went wrong, both her sister's and his life would be in great danger. There was no way he could accept such a thing.
"Should I show her?" Light suddenly thought he didn't want to make a decision right away.
It really only took him a few seconds, after a few hours of clearing his head, to decide that it was much better to take on such a difficult task. It was too early for anything, he could show his sister his skill the moment the red sky and red sun appeared.
"You're right, I guess I got scared for a moment." Light replied it would be best to stay calm for the moment.
"Come on then, let's finish eating, we haven't watched a movie together for a long time, I and want to clear my head." Petunia must have thought that Light was scared because she suddenly tried to change the subject. It was the profile of a big sister who never wanted to upset her brother for no reason.
It would not be wrong to say that the day was ending like that. It was as if an ordinary family portrait had come to life and been visualised. A film watched with popcorn and then going to sleep to end the night.
Of course, no one outside the duo could expect to wake up to the apocalypse.
-----
Light had been trying to wake his sister Petunia for almost five minutes. It was exactly ten minutes before sunrise. On January 1st 2025, at 8.24 in the morning, the sun would rise in Powys. In a very short time, as soon as the sun rose, everything would be coloured red and the apocalypse would begin.
"Sister wake up...SISTER!
Petunia finally woke up after almost six minutes, you could see how tired she was by the bruises under her eyes and her lack of make-up.
"What happened?" asked Petunia sleepily and with that she heard the following answer:
"The sun will rise, sister, it's only a few minutes away."
Hearing the answer, Petunia suddenly got out of bed and put on her bathrobe, which was next to the bed, and then started to follow Light. After only three minutes, the two came out of the back door of the house and started watching the sky.
There was also a wall behind the fence around the house, Petunia had noticed this yesterday and it made her feel very, very strange, after all, if such dangerous fences were standing here, why was there a wall all around?
"What now?" asked Petunia and with that the alarm on Light's wristwatch suddenly went off.
"DIIT! DIIT! DIIT!"
As soon as Light switched off the alarm on his wristwatch, the light reflected on the ground suddenly began to change.
Petunia couldn't believe her eyes, her body trembled so much from fear that she suddenly fell to the ground. Tears were flowing from her eyes and at the same time, her heart was pounding.
"Do you believe it now, sister?" When Light asked this, he was looking towards the rising sun.
Its colour, which was only red at the moment, would become redder and redder as the days passed, and eventually, it would turn into a red that purified the colour of blood.
Light was secretly praying that he had only been born as a superhero, but when he saw the red sun, even he finally accepted the situation. The apocalypse was here.
Looking at the red sun once more, Light took a deep breath and then said the following words in a low voice.
"The red sky came into existence and everything disappeared. You realised the universe and saw the apocalypse with your own eyes. This is exactly how you died."
