"June 1st 2024?"
That was exactly six months before the apocalypse began. But Light clearly remembered exactly when the dream started. He clearly remembered the main headline of the news he watched when he returned home from university and the date chart next to it.
"January 1st 2025."
Had he gone back in time? Could he have seen the future in his dream at that time? He didn't remember the envelope in his hand at all, so was he really in the present now? In that case, could he have died once?
He fell to his knees with a sudden intake of breath and tried to calm himself down with tears streaming from his eyes. It seemed that the trauma he had gained was giving him a panic attack. At that very moment, he saw his sister's name again on the envelope he had dropped from his hand and suddenly he was able to pull himself together.
Of course, the name of his sister, the person he valued the most in this life and the only person he could seriously entrust his life to, would be enough to calm him down.
However, although he continued to take deep and rapid breaths, he managed to carefully open the paper in the envelope. What was written on the paper was exactly as follows:
"We are pleased to inform you, Mr Light Black, that we have summoned you to the capital city, London on the 2nd of June 2024 at two o'clock in the afternoon, following the legal services preferred by Lisa Black and Adam Black, the former leaders of the Black family, and following the approval of the honourable Petunia Black. As the summons is closely connected with the companies and your sister personally wishes you to come, please do not refuse our request. Have a nice day.
-Pich Rose Law Office"
Light couldn't believe that he was going to have an adverb of indication and that his sister herself had called him. Nothing like this had ever happened before, and of course, it was quite a surprise to him. Thinking that something had happened to his sister, he immediately took his phone opened the message application and wrote a short paragraph to his sister:
"Sis, I'm sorry, I'm writing during working hours, but is there a problem? I received an envelope and the letter inside...I was wondering, are you in good health? Or are you calling me to talk about our family's companies? As I said, as long as you give me half of your assets, I have no problem, we can even agree on 40 per cent. However, even more than assets, please write about your health when you are free, the letter worried me incredibly."
With that, Light closed the message application sat back down in his computer chair and continued to browse the internet to do research, and at that very moment, an advertisement on a website caught his attention. Light clicked on this advertisement with the words Online Knights on it and started to carefully examine the website opened in front of him.
The main reason why he clicked on this website was that the window he saw in the advert was extremely similar to the window he saw when he woke up. For Light, who had never played a game in his life, games and status windows were incredibly incomprehensible.
Scratching his head after examining this window he saw on the website and researching on the video streaming platform, Light started to sit on the couch in a confused state. After spending almost 3 hours watching the video, he was able to directly understand what that window he had seen in front of him in the morning was.
"Well...this is weird...I might really be schizophrenic...I think I should tell my sister." After the words he spent out loud, he picked up his phone and opened the messaging application again, just as he was about to send a message to his sister that he might be sick, he suddenly shook his head up and down and threw the phone on his bed.
"Now is not the time, there is no harm in trying, but how am I going to open this window?" said Light suddenly. A curiosity arose in him, and although he was afraid, he still wanted to give himself a chance, and then he started to say the magic words:
"Abradakadabra?"
Nothing happened.
'Open sesame?"
Not a single click.
"Game window?"
Again, nothing happened.

.
.
As soon as he realised that his successive attempts were not working, he leaned his head back against the computer chair and closed his eyes as if he were completely confused. After only three or four seconds, when he opened his eyes, his eyes locked on the monitor and he saw the two words, coughed as soon as he saw the words and then said "System window."
Suddenly, the exact same window he had seen in the morning opened in front of him, and this sudden event frightened Light unbelievably. Because of this window he suddenly saw, he leaned the seat backwards and as a result, he fell to the floor. The fact that the window followed him seemed to tell him that this was real.
What he saw in front of him confused him again and upset him at the same time:

"No kidding? I can't be that weak, can I?" When Light saw the status points, he started to eat the fruits of his brief research on games. These status points indicated his strength, and Light looked at the system window, grumbling as if he was not at all pleased that he was so weak.
"I mean, okay, I know I don't have much muscle strength and all, and I'm not very handsome, but I can't possibly be this weak...right?"
Even he looked like he couldn't believe it, that's why he covered his face with his hand and scratched his whole face quickly. It was as if he was trying to distract himself. At that very moment, his eyes fell on the 'skill' part and his curiosity was even greater.
He was eager to find out what was going on.
