Jun's hands tremble as he grips the blanket tightly, his mind reeling.
He looks between Kieran and Ace, desperation flashing in his wide eyes. "You're telling me… I'm a werewolf now? That I'm not human anymore?"
Ace steps closer, his expression heavy with guilt. "Yes, Jun. But it wasn't a choice anyone wanted to make lightly. You were dying_ your body couldn't fight back on its own. This was the only way to save you."
Jun shakes his head, disbelief flickering in his gaze. "You're saying Kieran bit me to… to turn me into this? Why couldn't you just…" His voice cracks, his words cutting off as the weight of it all crashes over him.
Kieran says firmly, his voice steady but filled with regret. "Your heart stopped. You were slipping away, and we had no other option. I didn't want to do this, Jun, but I couldn't just let you die. None of us could. There's nothing wrong with being what you are now, no one will even know that you are not the same Jun."
