When Ace stormed out, he was about to leave the mansion, only to remember that he promised himself to do whatever it takes to finish this mission of theirs so that he can go away and start all over again.
So he turns back and heads to Kieran's study, pacing. To him, it feels like he can find a solution pacing like that.
Kieran enters, his harried movement faltering at the door.
"There must be another way to get to her, today is not ending before I find her, I cannot stand her anymore!" Ace says as if telling Kieran, but not really, he still paces.
"Ace, stop! Take a moment and breathe, what really is happening to you?! It's like you've completely lost it!" Kieran says, his voice softer, now he is really getting restless, Ace's behavior is worrying him because he has never seen him like this.
Ace still doesn't listen to him, Kieran has no choice but to hold him still, pinning him on the wall.
