On a moonlit night in a bustling city, Clara walked alone in the ancient forest at the edge of town, her little escape from the humdrum of life. And Arthur, the Vampire prince, came to this forest in search of a rare magical herb that is vital to the family's magical rituals.
As Clara was walking to a secluded lake deep in the forest, Arthur happened to emerge from the woods on the opposite side of the lake. Moonlight poured over the lake, reflecting the silhouettes of two, and their gazes met in a moment where time seemed to stand still.
Clara looked at the handsome man who dressed in a gorgeous golden robe with long and brown shiny hair fluttering in the wind. Above the high nose, his enigmatic blue eyes exuded a kind of innate nobility and arrogance.
With just one glance, Clara felt her heartbeat racing, with her cheeks unconsciously flushed.
Arthur was also attracted by the plain yet ethereal girl, who wears a plain white dress with her long black hair casually draping over her shoulders. Her bright green eyes were glittering with curiosity and innocence, and under the illumination of the moonlight, she is just like an elf in the forest. At this instant, Arthur's heart was flooded with a ripple that had never been felt before, an inexplicable sentiment quietly growing in the bottom of his heart.
But Arthur soon realized his identity as a vampire prince and the taboo between his race and humans. He pinched the bridge of his nose and tried to put away the tenderness in his eyes, with a joking idea echoing in his mind.
As Arthur inched closer to Clara, he breathed heavily around Clara's upper cloud. "Why are you here alone? Do you know this is a dangerous place?"
Clara sensed Arthur's oppressiveness and felt kind of nervous. Yet she decided to pull herself up and said"I ... You can call me Clara, and I just wanted to come here to take a break. What about you?"
Arthur didn't answer her question, just said lightly, "This forest is dangerous, you a human girl shouldn't come here, hurry up and go home."
Clara felt his breath spreading around her neck, yet she raised her head stubbornly and said, "I'm not afraid of danger, and it's beautiful here, I like..."
However, not waiting Clara's utterance finished, Arthur bent over and left a rude kiss on her cheek, "See you next time, Clara."
When Clara stood still at the original place, Arthur has already disappeared as his unclear emergence.
While Arthur returned to the castle, he still aftertasted her soft lip, Clara's figure and her clear voice always echoed in his mind.
