As she stepped into the ballroom, the space was illuminated by a golden glow from a dazzling crystal chandelier. Gentlemen and ladies in the hall were all dressed in fine costumes and behaved elegantly.
Clara's eyes were instantly attracted by Arthur. He stood at the bottom of the stairs, wearing a gorgeous dark blue tuxedo, and the red bow tie was as bright as blood, which made his whole person even more cold and noble. His eyes were deep and fiery, as if Clara was the only one left in the world.
