Chapter 1 - Prologue

JOVEN ERUDITO : HECTOR SKALLAGRIMSSON - LOS VERDADEROS HIJOS DE GILGÆ

SANTO ANCIANO: Alexander Caspian. - Santa iglesia de la luz

What you are about to read in the following text is nothing more than a compilation of books, logs, diaries, and testimonies from those who lived during the Crusades of the year 4030—a conflict that led to the annihilation of non-human races and the destruction of humanity's mother planet.

Consequently, this current collection serves only as a tool for the study of future generations, aiming to prevent such catastrophic outcomes from ever occurring again.

It also seeks to eternally honor the memory of the Hero Gilgæ, ensuring that his deeds remain immortalized for posterity.

The translation of these texts and recordings was made possible thanks to the wisdom of the Schools of Thought established by the sage Himmel. Their rigorous study by the descendants of the most learned companion of the hero lends great authenticity to this work.

The logs, found aboard the battle ships belonging to the hero's strongest ally—better known as Cahuide "The Watchman"—have been almost entirely restored, despite suffering extensive damage from their frequent presence on the front lines of battle.

Meanwhile, aboard the ships and in the barracks of the hero's shield-bearer, known only by the moniker "Samson of Extremadura," videos and journals of entire battalions under the hero's banner have been recovered. These writings and recordings vividly depict the hero's significant role on every front.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, this text is authored by "The True Children of Gilgæ." We uphold an ideology left to us by the hero through his aide—known as Egil "The Spear"—and after 2,000 years, we still await the return of the hero's enemies.
