The First Customer
Jack spent the last few minutes trying to understand his shop and the system. As he touched the mirror with the holographic panel, he discovered the available features: inventory, price list, item catalog, and even a brief guide for using the Trading System.
However, before he could fully understand everything, the bell above the door rang, signaling that someone had entered. Jack turned around and saw a young wizard standing in the doorway. The man was wearing a tattered robe and carrying a leather pouch that appeared to be filled with money.
"Welcome to Arcane Emporium," Jack said in a friendly tone.
The man nodded hesitantly. "What do you sell here?"
Jack was momentarily confused. He wasn't fully prepared, but he remembered that the Trading System had given him three initial items. Calmly, he opened the small chest on the counter and displayed the items in front of the customer.
Oak Wand (Ollivander's Prototype)
Low-Level Healing Potion
Skill Card: "Alohomora"
The man gazed at the items with interest, especially the softly glowing skill card.
"What is that?" he asked, pointing at the card.
Jack tried to recall the Trading System's explanation. "This is a Skill Card. If you have it, you can instantly master the 'Alohomora' spell, without needing to study or practice."
The man raised an eyebrow. "How much is it?"
Jack glanced at the system panel, which automatically displayed the price:
5 Galleons.
"5 Galleons," Jack replied.
The man seemed to think for a moment before pulling out money from his pouch and handing it to Jack. Once the payment was complete, the card glowed, disappeared from the counter, and appeared in the man's hand.
"Interesting..." he murmured. "I'll return if you have other items."
After the customer left, Jack felt a strange sensation. The Trading System spoke in his mind once again.
"Congratulations! Your first item has been sold. You've received a duplicate of the 'Alohomora' Skill Card. The card has been added to your inventory."
Jack opened the inventory through the panel and saw that the card was now available to him. With curiosity, he touched the card and instantly understood the Alohomora spell.
"This is amazing..." he murmured.
However, he knew that new challenges would soon arise. Selling the first item was a small step. To grow, he would need to find ways to acquire more interesting items and build his shop's reputation in Diagon Alley.
Jack looked out the shop window, watching the crowd thin as the evening turned to night. "Alright," he said to himself. "This is just the beginning."
