The Unexpected Shop
Harry didn't know what exactly drew him into the shop, but as soon as he saw the beautifully carved glass door glowing with a golden light, his curiosity led him inside. The shop looked different from the other more traditional and classic-looking shops in Diagon Alley.
As soon as Harry stepped inside, he felt as though he was entering a different world—a blend of ancient magical realms and futuristic modernity. The store's space was surprisingly vast, despite looking like an ordinary shop from the outside. The walls were made of materials Harry had never seen before, with moving light patterns that seemed to follow his every movement. The shelves appeared to merge with the walls, designed in elegant curves with a sleek form. Each shelf held various antique items, seemingly filled with magic, yet with a stunning touch of modern technology. Some objects even appeared as though they were about to float or spin on their own.
In the center of the room was a long table made of shimmering transparent material, with a crystal ball that seemed to emit a soft light. On the table, there were various types of cards and small glowing items. Some objects, like rings and necklaces, appeared to be ordinary, yet there was a magical aura emanating from them.
Harry walked further inside, his eyes scanning the items in the shop with growing curiosity. Suddenly, he heard a soft voice from behind.
"Welcome to my shop. My name's Jack. How can I help you?"
Harry turned around and saw a well-dressed man standing behind the counter. Jack looked relaxed yet had an impressive aura. His hair was slightly messy, and his eyes shone with intelligence.
"Uh, yeah... I was just... curious," Harry said awkwardly. "This shop... is very different from the others."
Jack smiled, as if understanding his confusion. "Of course. This is a place that offers items you can't find anywhere else. I sell rare objects, maybe there's something here that would interest you."
Harry walked closer, taking a closer look at more items on the shelves around him. His eyes landed on a ring that appeared very simple, but there was something unique about it. It looked like a small ring with a relatively modern design, but there was an unfamiliar symbol in the center.
Jack followed Harry's gaze and smiled. "Ah, that's a space ring. It's very useful for those who travel often, or anyone who wants to keep their belongings safe without carrying a large bag."
Harry looked at the ring with curiosity. "A space ring?"
"Yes, this ring allows you to store items inside, regardless of their size," Jack explained. "It's perfect for those of you who often find yourselves in distant places. You can place various items inside, and when you need them, just summon them back. The ring also has a much larger space inside than it appears, thanks to the magic and sophisticated design."
Harry nodded, thinking for a moment. "That's really useful. But I think Hagrid could use it too."
Jack smiled again, understanding what Harry meant. "Hagrid, huh? He probably needs a few extra things for his travels."
Harry smiled, relieved that Jack understood his point. "How much is it?"
Jack raised an eyebrow as if thinking for a moment. "For this ring, I'm selling it for fifty Galleons."
Harry was a little taken aback by the price, but he knew it was a very useful item, and for Hagrid, who often traveled, the ring would be extremely helpful. After a brief hesitation, Harry took out the money and paid for the ring.
"Thank you very much, Mr. Jack," Harry said sincerely. "I think Hagrid will really like this."
Jack accepted the money with a smile. "You're welcome, Mr. Potter. I hope this ring brings comfort on your journey."
Afterward, Harry left the shop, the space ring hidden in his pocket. He felt slightly more prepared to face the magical world and more confident with the gift he would give Hagrid.
However, he couldn't forget how unique the shop was. Jack, the man with the very different shop, seemed to have more secrets than met the eye. Harry felt that the shop, and perhaps Jack himself, would play a bigger role in his upcoming adventures.
