Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Awakening of a New World

William Less had always been a dreamer. Born into a humble family, he grew up in a small apartment on the outskirts of the city. His parents worked hard to ensure he received a decent education, but luxuries like video game consoles or trips to exotic places were never part of his reality. Instead, William found refuge in his imagination.

From a young age, he was enchanted by fantasy stories. Books, manga, anime, and web novels were his windows to worlds where magic existed, where heroes faced powerful villains, and where epic adventures happened around every corner. These stories were his escape, a way to forget the monotony of his everyday life.

After high school, reality knocked on William's door. He realized that the world was not as magical as he had hoped. To cope with this disappointment, he delved even deeper into his fantasies.

Working as an IT technician and ignoring his own physical condition and health, he spent his nights reading manga and watching anime, dreaming of a day when he could live an adventure of his own.

One night, after a long day at work, William was reading a chapter of his favorite manga, "Naruto." He always identified with the characters who fought against all odds to achieve their dreams.

As he read about the epic battle between the Fourth Hokage and the Kyubi, the nine-tailed fox, he felt a strange sensation of drowsiness. His eyes grew heavy, and before he realized it, he thought he was falling asleep, but in reality, his consciousness was fading away.

Death! What a meaningless life... At least he didn't feel any pain and didn't even know how he died, but as he lost consciousness, he came to terms with it, since after all, he had ignored his health and condition throughout his life.

Emptiness...

When William opened his eyes, he first thought he had had a dream or fainted. The biggest shock was waking up, but then the real shock came: he was no longer in his small apartment! Instead, he found himself in a completely different place.

The sky was tinged with red, and he could hear screams and explosions in the distance. Confused, he looked around and realized he was in a ruined village. Houses were destroyed, and the ground was covered in rubble.

The streets were filled with dust and debris, and the smell of smoke and blood was unmistakable. He could see ninjas running back and forth, trying to organize the village's defense while desperate civilians sought shelter.

"This can't be real," William thought, rubbing his eyes. "I must be dreaming."

But the heat of the flames and the smell of smoke were unmistakable. He was really there. Suddenly, he heard a cry very close to him. Following the sound and the angle of vision, it was as if he was being carried.

From this position, he could identify the disheveled, fallen pink hair and the face of a woman, who was holding two newborn babies. She was injured, but her eyes were full of determination.

Determination of someone who wouldn't stop until she was sure she had saved her most precious possessions, her grandchildren. When a young Anbu suddenly appeared, and before he could say anything, she threw herself towards him.

Without being able to process the situation, William felt a sharp pain in his head. Everything went dark again, and he fainted. Avoiding all the confusion and chaos of the nine-tailed fox's attack, the young Anbu quickly created two clones and prepared to ensure their safety, taking them to the nearest shelter while he himself prepared to fight.

"Go!" he ordered his clones, who disappeared as they executed their body flicker, carrying the injured woman and the babies.
