"Damn IT! You said you could do this!" Killian, whisper yelled. I noticed they were trying to hack the laptop. "Are you boys really being naughty this early in the morning?" I yawned. They slowly looked at me as I wiped my eyes. "You know you'll never get through that code like that right?" I said, stretching my legs. Killian thought for a second then said "..You know about computers?" I smiled. "Oh sweetie this is child's play." I laughed.
Killian slowly handed me the laptop. "..Nick CAN'T know about this…" He said looking me straight in the eyes. "One black cup of coffee sounds great thanks" I replied with a wink. Killian turned to Jackson saying "Coffee go." Then he turned back to me and said, "We need to get into the surveillance system of this company. They took something of ours. I just need to see where they're keeping it so I can go get it." "Okay." I said, as I started typing. Then I stopped and Jackson handed me my coffee.
"Why'd you stop? Can you not do it?" Killian asked worriedly. I drank some coffee. "Hurtful! Travis you remember that black box I freaked out over yall touching yesterday." I ignored Killian. "Yeah I left it in the box In the hallway," Travis replied. "Yeah, bring it here please." I declared, setting my coffee down. He handed me my bag. I opened it and pulled out my safety gear. Then plugged one into the laptop and handed one to Travis saying "plug this into the TV, like you would a playstation " he did and then I hit three keys on the laptop and the cameras came up on the tv.
"Now, what are you looking for? I have full control of the surveillance system so I can see everything." I asked, leaning back. "Holy shit." Killian said, sitting on the edge of the couch. "Um it's 3 crates. 3 wooden crates…labeled explosive….." He said, staring at the screen. I typed some more and the cameras moved around and showed us different angles. Then they stopped. "Those crates right there?" I asked. The camera had landed on 3 wooden crates with big explosives labels but one was open and you could see it was full of drugs.
"Where in the building is that?" Killian asked. I pulled out a little to show where in the building we were. And I found the schematics in the system. "Looks like the east side entrance. There's an extra big bay door." I answered him. Killian sat back and took a deep breath. "Now wipe that laptop. Make sure they can't tell you hacked the system." He instructed. Travis unplugged the tv and I wiped the laptop. I put my stuff up in my room and jumped in the shower.
I put on some pink daisy dukes and a black crop top, I bleached myself and threw my hair up in a ponytail then grabbed my purse and sneakers. When I walked out Travis and Audrey were the only ones still here. "Oh love the shirt girlgurl!" Audrey said, jumping from the couch. "Thanx I bleached it myself." I smiled. Travis stood up and noticed I had my purse. "You taking us shopping?" He joked. "While you desperately need help in the fashion department. I have other matters that are more important but if you care to join I would not mind." I proclaimed.
"You just want me to drive." Travis said, grabbing his keys. "Nonsense, I need someone to carry my bags too." I laughed. I was worried about Killian and the others but I knew I wouldn't get any answer. We hopped in Travis' car and Audrey asked, "So where are we going?" "I need special soil for my cacti so I need to go to a flower shop first And Th..." I started to explain. "HA hA" Audrey busted out laughing. "You're not putting soil in my car. It'll get dirty." Travis said dead serious. I sighed and got out real quick. Audrey was still laughing. Travis followed me behind the guest house. I found my tarps and said, "Okay pick one. Which one is clean enough to put in your trunk so I can set the soil on it."
Travis looked at them and unwillingly picked one. He carried it to his car trying to shake off as much dirt as he could. "Look I'll clean your trunk out afterwards okay. I promise." I said as we got back to the car. He popped the trunk, moved some stuff and put the tarp in. "Yes. Yes you will." he said shutting the trunk. Then we were off. We went to 4 different flower shops and none of them had the right soil. I was able to do my other shopping in between.
"I don't understand why you need so many candles?" Travis said, as I handed him another bag. "That's okay, I'm used to not being understood." I said with a smile. We dropped the bags in the car. *Grrr* Travis' stomach spoke what we were all thinking. "Come on, I know a great place to eat that's just around the block. We can walk." Travis said locking the car. "OH Man I haven't been there in forever." Audrey exclaims. I followed them eager to see their secret treasure.
As we turn the corner we pass some guys that bumped into Travis. "Watch it!" One of the guys yelled. Travis straightened up and put his arms around Audrey and me pulling us down the sidewalk. "Hey qeer I'm talking to you!!" the guy yelled again. I stopped in my tracks and spun out of Travis' arm then marched right up to the two guys. They both towered over me but I could care less. I looked them in their eyes and said, "You wanna run that by me again?" "Oh I'm sorry sweetie We weren't talking to you. But damn since when does the queer have such a hot groupie." The one with brown hair said.
Without thinking I slung out my switchblade pointed at his throat. "That's where you're wrong idiot I'm BI. So I fall in the same category. Now I'd run along before you get hurt." I warned them. The 2 boys backed up and started walking away. The brown haired one turned and pointed at Travis, who was beside me now, "You better keep her on a tight leash." Audrey grabbed my hand saying "Let's put this away now" I took a deep breath and put my knife up.
We walked the rest of the way to a cute little cafe. And when we walked in I realized It was a gay cafe. "AWE BABYDOLL!!! I haven't seen you in ages. And who is this beauty!" The bartender nearly jumped the counter saying. "Hey Luci, This is Sophia. She's new to town." Audrey greeted him. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a nice meal. We chatted and laughed and cried. Travis and Audrey never brought up my knife or how fast I was to pull it but I suppose that's our little secret.
