We got back and I went straight to my room. A shower was just what I needed. Mom cooked supper and we ate just the two of us. Mom told me about her day with Luna at the hospital. She also said she was looking for a house for us. I assured her anywhere would work but she wanted only the best for me. After supper mom took her shower and went to bed. I cleaned the kitchen and pulled out my laptop. Every website I looked at was over 200 dollars because of the delivery charge. *SIGH* I leaned my head back against the couch and saw Killian sneaking in.
I spun around and stretched over the back of the couch. "Why don't you love me?" I teased. Killian froze then slowly turned around. He raised an eyebrow at me. "What?" he whispered. "If you loved me you'd take me to the lotus shop." I pouted. He sighed and sat beside me. "What do you need so bad from there?" He asked. "Cactus soil." I explained. He rolled his eyes. "What's it look like?" He questioned examining the laptop. I just pointed to the screen showing him the blue bag with a big cactus on it.
He snapped a picture with his phone. "I'm not promising anything. But I'll look into it. Now go to bed, I'm tired." He closed my laptop. "Then go to bed there's two bedrooms." I pointed down the hallway. "You know good and well if Nick finds me in a bed and you on the couch I'm dead." He cut his eyes at me. I smirked and stood up. Then I leaned down towards him and said, "It'd be worth it?" His eyes grew three sizes. "Go away!" He pushed me. I giggled and went to the second bedroom to sleep.
The next morning I woke up to find Killian standing in my doorway watching me sleep. "You're gonna stare a hole in me." I said sitting up. He straightened up and just walked away. I spent the day with Mabel and Audrey learning about the town and school drama. The weekend ended fast. Soon it was monday and I was the new girl in school. The girls helped me through it but I still missed my crew back home.
I jumped into my studies and decided I'd try out for sports next year. Mom and I found a routine verily quick. After a month or so she found us a place of our own. A beautiful two story house with a full basement and attic. There was even a pool in the backyard, the very big backyard. Everyone helped us move in and set stuff up. Luna planned a housewarming party once we were settled in.
With school and moving I didn't see Killian as much. That made me sad. Audrey made sure to distract me with shopping. I completely updated my wardrobe. New shoes. New dresses. Sexy lingerie. Even New bathing suits. The housewarming party was a big hit. People from the town came. I learned a lot about mom and Nick's childhood. But still no Killian.
Audrey had talked Mom into making it a pool party so everyone was swimming. I had on some black daisy dukes and one of the new swimsuits I bought, a green two piece. Everyone was coming up and talking to mom and me. Presents were put on the dining table. Audrey was swimming with the others. Mom and Luna were caring for the babies. I was standing alone drinking a cheerwine wishing it was cherry wine.
I needed a breather so I snuck away to my room. When I opened my door Killian was in my room putting something on my bed. I shut the door behind me making sure he heard it. He turned around and had a black eye, busted lip and bandages on his head and arms. "SERIOUSLY? WHAT HAPPENED?" I huffed. He smirked, "I'm okay. Just got into some trouble. I'll be fine in a couple days." I crossed my arms. "Bull! I can tell from here your old wound never healed and whoever bandaged you didn't know what they were doing." I scuffed as I went to the bathroom and brought out a mega first aid kit.
He just smiled at me as I started working on him. I was able to fix his head and arm bandage quickly but his old wound was bleeding through his shirt. "Take it off." I demanded. "I can't do that. Dollface." He said matter of factly. "Why Not? I need to clean and rebandage your old wound." I asked, aggravated. "Cause I'm not sober enough to hold myself back." He smirked looking me dead in the eyes.
I grabbed the bottom of his shirt and said, "Too Bad." He let me pull his shirt off and clean his wound. I was bandaging it when he ran his hand through my hair. Without thinking I leaned into his hand. I finished with his wound and closed the first aid kit. When I tried to stand up he pulled me down on top of him. He had one arm around my waist and his other hand was cupping my face. We looked into each other's eyes then before I could act he took my lips in a sloppy kiss.
My hands went straight to his hair as I pulled him closer. He flipped us over so he was on top and started kissing my neck. I couldn't help but moan. His hands caressed my whole body playing with all the right spots. He slid my shorts off and grabbed my thigh in his mouth. "Aaah" I moaned. "PHee PHee!" Mom shouted from down stairs. We froze. His forehead hit my thigh. "Shit." He mumbled before standing up. I sat up and readjusted my top. Standing up I grabbed my shorts to slip them back on.
We went downstairs and joined the party. Mom was ready to open gifts. I could feel Killians eyes on me. Nick walked up to him and they talked like normal. We got through all the presents and people started to leave. The main crew stayed to help clean. Travis and Jackson closed down the pool. Audrey and Mabel helped put the gifts up. Nick and Luna got the babies ready to go home. Emma and Riley cleaned up the yard. Killian helped me with the kitchen.
We finished the kitchen pretty quick. "Oh yeah I still have a gift for you." Killian said. "Yeah I saw you putting it on my bed," I whispered. He blushed. "NO. Something else. Come here. Tell me where you want it." He pulled me outside to his car. When he opened the truck there were 3 bags of cactus soil. "OMG!!! HELL YEAH!!!" I shrieked. Then I stiffened realizing I just cursed. Killian elbowed my arm and said, "Told you I could get you to curse."
I smiled and we moved the soil to my shed. Once we closed the door to the shed I heard Nick walking up to us. "Please don't bore my friends with your gardening! Soph." Nick joked. I stuck my tongue out at him. "Your friend! Got me my cactus soil jerk….And he made me curse first." I said mockingly. Nick cut his eyes at Killian. "In what manner did he make you curse?" He asked ice on each word. "When I saw the bags of soil I said Hell yeah." I smiled. Killian let out a breath I didn't know he was holding.
"HA! You lose!" I said running to the girls. Nick and Killian stood in front of the shed a moment then walked over to the group. Mom helped Luna put the babies in the car. Everyone else got in their respectful vehicles and left. Killian hugged mom and me then jumped in his car. Nick pulled out first but waited for Killian before pulling away.
