Vishal runs towards his house, panting heavily, and sees that his home is engulfed in flames. Seeing this, he drops to his knees, tears streaming down his face onto the ground, and begins crying loudly. His eyes are completely void of life.
One of the onlookers says, "Vishal bhai, pull yourself together." But Vishal isn't listening to anyone. He runs toward the house, only to be restrained by a few people trying to extinguish the fire.
Vishal struggles and shouts, "Please, let me go, please! I'm begging you!" An elderly man among the crowd says, "Son, control yourself. You've lost so much because of this tragedy, but that doesn't mean you should throw your life away like this."
Vishal, enraged, screams, "This wasn't an accident; it was that Bastard's doing! He killed them! He..." Just then, his phone rings. As soon as he sees the number on the screen, he yells angrily, "You Bastard, why did you do this? I'll kill you!"
On the other end, Sagar responds calmly, "Cool, cool, senior. Do you think I'd be scared of a death threat? Have you forgotten I'm already dying? So, what's there for me to fear?" After saying this, Sagar starts laughing maniacally. Vishal shouts, "You... What harm had my wife and unborn child done to you?
Fine, I ruined your life, but that doesn't mean you take it out on innocents..." Saying this, Vishal begins sobbing uncontrollably. Sagar, in a deep voice, says, "Why didn't you help her?"
Vishal, confused, asks, "What did you say?" Sagar repeats, "Why didn't you help her when she was begging you for help? You knew everything, didn't you? Even knowing everything, you didn't... She's in a mental asylum now."
Vishal feels as if the blood in his veins has frozen. Stammering, he asks, "How do you know about this?"
But there's no response from the other side. Sagar abruptly hangs up.
Vishal looks at his burned house, clenches his fists, stands up, and declares, "I'm going to show you what a living hell feels like, Sagar! I'm coming for you." Just then, a woman's voice calls from behind, "Excuse me, where are you going? And what happened to our house?"
Vishal turns around in shock, runs to his wife, and hugs her tightly, saying, "Thank God you're safe!" Hearing this, his wife replies, "I don't know. I got a call from a girl who said you were lying drunk in a ditch. That's why I went to check on you."
Vishal, crying, says, "I quit drinking a long time ago. And don't worry, I'll never give you another reason to complain after today." Saying this, he hugs her tightly and weeps.
Watching this entire drama, the old man remarks, "Alright, forget all that. Just tell me, who left the gas on?" Vishal, startled, asks, "Gas? Wasn't there a bomb in the house?" Hearing this, the old man retorts, "Have you lost your mind? Someone left the gas on, and that's why the fire started."
Just then, Vishal receives a message on his phone stating that ₹50,999 has been withdrawn from his account. Along with it is a message:
"I've taken back my money with interest. Yours truly friend, Sagar."
Seeing this, Vishal laughs and curses, "That Bastard!"
Meanwhile, Shivani enters the room and says, "Your task is done. But you were talking about a girl earlier."
Sagar, with a smile, replies, "Ah, forget about that. Tell me, what's your decision about dating me?"
Shivani, making a disgusted face, says, "You? Impossible."
Sagar responds, "What's wrong with me? You won't find a handsome young man like me anywhere else."
With a face as if she's looking at something repulsive, Shivani replies, "You neither have enough money nor good looks. On top of that, you're scrawny, have little time left to live, and you're married too. With such impressive qualities, how could any girl possibly date you?"
Hearing this, Sagar asks, "Was that a compliment or an insult?" Shivani, in a mocking tone, replies, "Does that sound like a compliment to you? Obviously, it's an insult."
Sagar mutters, "Witch! Was it necessary to shout so loudly? It hurts my feelings. Anyway, forget all that and cut an apple for me." He adds sarcastically, "His Highness Sagar craves sliced apples. Fulfill this humble request quickly!"
Shivani retorts, "What did you just say, pig?"
Sagar, interrupting her, says, "Don't forget you're here as a nurse. Go and get it."
As Shivani leaves, Sagar mutters, "Finally, she's gone," then looks at the ceiling and thinks, "So this is death. Hell, here I come." Darkness starts engulfing his open eyes. Taking his final breath, Sagar thinks, "I wish that damn scoundrel were here."
A while later, Shivani returns to the room and sees Sagar staring at the ceiling with his eyes wide open. She says, "Stop pretending to be dead. Why are you staring at the ceiling like a fool? Don't tell me you're expecting me to feed you the apple with my own hands. Dream on—it's never going to happen."
However, she begins to sense something odd. As she tries to shake Sagar, she realizes he has passed away. Shivani gently closes his open eyes and covers his body with a sheet.
She whispers, "May your next life be better." Saying this, she takes a deep breath, and tears start rolling down her cheeks. Wiping her tears away, she quietly leaves the room.
Arvind Singhania, gazing out of the window, asks one of his men, "Tell me, have you found anything about Ranjeet Khanna?"
The man standing next to him replies, "No, sir. There's been no trace of him for the past two days. It seems like he might be…"
Hearing this, Arvind glances at him and says, "Good riddance. Let's hope that's the case. At least one thorn is out of my way. And listen, get that girl as soon as possible. I don't want her causing any more trouble."
As he smokes his cigarette, Arvind murmurs Sagar's name repeatedly, "Sagar, Sagar… Sometimes, I almost pity you. I don't know what made you think you could cross paths with me."
Meanwhile, Shivani unlocks the door to her house. As she steps inside, she sees her belongings scattered everywhere. Alarmed, she immediately takes down a wall clock and retrieves a pen drive hidden behind it. Letting out a deep breath, she clutches the pen drive tightly and thinks to herself, "It seems they've found out about me."
She hurriedly steps out of the house. The moment she steps outside, a car screeches to a halt in front of her.
A man wearing dark sunglasses points a gun at her and says, "Get in quietly, or it won't end well for you." As he lowers his glasses and looks at Shivani again, she quickly swings her bag into his face and runs away.
But another voice from the car calls out, "You might escape, but what about your little brother?"
Shivani's steps falter at these words. The man continues, "Are you getting in the car, or should I bring your brother here?" Hearing this, Shivani silently gets into the car.
A few hours later, the car stops near an abandoned factory. The man shoves Shivani out and says, "Move quickly. The boss is waiting for you."
Shivani starts walking toward the factory when the man yells, "Where do you think you're going? Not there, this way." He directs her toward a nearby warehouse.
As Shivani steps inside the warehouse, she sees Arvind Singhania sitting there, lighting a cigar. Upon seeing her, Arvind says, "Come in, have a seat."
Then, turning to the man standing behind him, he slaps him across the face and says, "Is this how you treat our guests? Especially such a beautiful one?" With that, he shifts his gaze back to Shivani.
Pouring himself a drink, Arvind offers her a glass and says, "Here, take this." Shivani doesn't touch the glass.
Noticing her refusal, he smirks and says, "If you don't want to drink, that's fine. Just hand over the pen drive."
Shivani, stammering slightly, says, "Which pen drive?"
Arvind, sipping his drink, replies, "The one where you've gathered so much evidence against me."
Shivani, looking nervous, asks, "What evidence? What are you talking about?"
Hearing this, Arvind Singhania responds, "The evidence you were planning to use to prove that I'm involved in drug supply and have strong ties with the mafia."
"Did you and Sagar really think you could collect so much evidence against me, prepare to send me to jail, and I wouldn't find out? Honestly, thinking about you two fools makes me laugh."
Arvind continues, "Well, at least you two did one good thing. You got rid of that Ranjeet from my path. Now, just hand over the pen drive quietly, or you can't even imagine what might happen to you. Oh, and you have a younger brother, don't you? What was his name...?"
Shivani yells, "Stop! He has nothing to do with this. If I give you the pen drive, will you let me go?"
Arvind, smirking, says, "Of course. You can leave peacefully. Now, hand me the pen drive."
Shivani pulls the pen drive hidden in her shoe and places it in front of Arvind Singhania. "Can I leave now?" she asks.
At this, Arvind bursts into laughter and says, "Did you really believe my words?"
Confused, Shivani demands, "What do you mean?"
Arvind, laughing wickedly, says, "You know too much about me, so I can't let you live." Pointing a gun at her face, he adds, "Wait a minute. Killing someone as beautiful as you would be such a waste. I think I should supply you overseas, like the other girls."
Shivani, furious, curses him, "You filthy dog! You promised me."
Grabbing her face, Arvind responds, "It's your fault for believing me."
He then touches her face and says, "But before that…" He starts laughing loudly. Shivani slaps his hand away and says, "Stay away from me, you perverted old man!"
Meanwhile, Sagar opens his eyes and, confused, thinks, "Did I survive? Where am I? This doesn't look like a hospital."
He starts looking around, only to realize he can't move his body. When he raises his hand to bring it near his face, he notices, "Why do my hands look so small?"
Trying to speak, Sagar realizes his voice won't come out properly. That's when he notices he's lying in a cradle.
