Chapter 8: "Keys to Power"
Azar had been through enough worlds and situations to make his mind collapse and rise again. Now, he was facing a pivotal moment in his journey. He was in a strange place, just like every other time, but this time was different. Here, everything started to become clear in a way it had never been before. The shadows no longer bothered him, and the puzzles no longer confined his thoughts. It felt as if the doors to the truth had finally opened before him.
In this chapter of his life, Azar had discovered that power is not just about controlling the physical world; it is also about mastering the mind and the soul. But what he didn't know was that this world was built on intricate levels of power, and he was standing at the threshold of the first of these levels.
"You are now at the stage where you transcend what you see in front of you." The familiar voice said, a voice Azar had begun to doubt the identity of. The voice echoed in his mind as though it were part of him, but at the same time, it urged him to explore something deeper.
"What do you mean?" Azar asked as he stared into the distance, where the shadows had completely disappeared, replaced by a bright light surrounding the world.
"This is the truth, Azar. The world here is not as it seems. The power you seek is not in any of the forms of power you know. It is not in the shadows, nor in any material element. True power comes from knowledge. A complete understanding of the universe around you."
The words spun in Azar's mind like a vortex, but something else was on the horizon. He had to understand the nature of power in this dark world.
The world Azar stood in was not filled only with powerful creatures or terrifying conflicts. There were hidden levels of power, levels that only the few who delved into ancient secrets could comprehend. The power of the mind was one of these levels, as was the power of the soul.
In every world, every person, every being, possessed a type of unique power. But this power was not fixed. It varied invisibly in multiple layers, much like the shadow world he had left behind.
Azar began to see the full picture: the first level was the level of the body, where a person had the ability to affect the material environment around them. This was the simplest level, but it was the foundation.
The second level was the power of the soul, which was much deeper than the body. It meant mastering emotions and overcoming internal weakness. Azar had begun to understand that this power represented the true essence of an individual.
Then, there was the third level: the power of thought. This was the power that could change the course of history. People who reached this level were capable of changing the world through thought and creativity. These were the ones who controlled their reality.
Finally, there was the last level, which not many knew much about. The power of existence. This level was the power that could make a person control the entire universe. It was the power that could alter even the laws of nature. But reaching this level was impossible unless one attained a deeper and broader understanding.
What Azar didn't know was that this world he stood in, this broken world, was an additional layer of existence itself. His mind had started to open doors he hadn't expected, and he began to understand that the journey he had started was not merely a physical or spiritual journey. It was an intellectual journey to reach the peak of existence itself.
Azar had reached a turning point in his life. All the tools he had used so far were just steps toward something greater. He had to make a decision now: Would he continue to seek the physical power that had always attracted him, or would he search for something deeper, the power of the mind or soul, to become something greater than just a human?
Then, as if his mind had revealed a hidden secret, Azar began to see the thing that had been hidden from him all this time: he himself, just like in "Lord of the Mysteries," was walking in a loop of internal struggle. But the difference here was at the point of transformation. It was the beginning, not the end.
At that moment, the greatest surprise came: Azar was not in a parallel world at all. He was in his own world. In his mind.
The Shocking Decision:
The surprise of the chapter was that Azar was not merely part of a grand story. He was the creator of the story. The human mind, in its battle with itself, was the one creating the laws of power and existence.
The Astonishing Idea:
At that moment, Azar realized he had been creating everything around him, just as "Fang Yuan" did in his later stages. He was the one defining the boundaries, and he was the one deciding when and how he would control this universe. But this power was mysterious. It was filled with challenges that no one could predict.
In that moment, Azar felt as if his mind had exploded, and he became the one holding the keys to true power. But at the same time, he was facing a new challenge: Would he use this power for himself? Or would he continue the internal struggle to discover deeper secrets about existence?
