We snuck into the castle avoiding guards and saw an angry man coming out of a room. I peeked into the room and saw Mother. She had no expression on her face as if she is in severe shock.
I ran towards mother and shouted - "Mom!" She started tearing up and hugged me. I was so happy to see my mother after that very long time yet I couldn't stop crying.
She asked me how I've been and how was my adventures. I explained her everything. She heard my every story. I told her everything about noir as well. It has been a long time since I've seen her smiling like this.

Then I asked her ," where is father ?" She was silent then I asked again her but her silence was very uncomfortable for me. She started crying as she said, " your father is no more with us".
It was like my brain stopped working for sometime. "What are you saying mother ,don't say things like this , it's not funny " I couldn't believe what i was hearing.
She hugged me tightly and cried. I don't know why but I started thinking about that day when I was terrified of bandits. Things started making sense to me now I knew why i was terrified that day. It wasn't because I was afraid of dying it was because I was afraid of losing my parents.
Tears were falling uncontrollably from my eyes. Then suddenly I came to my senses and said " we have to go to home mother, let's go we'll search for father together, let's go home mother". It wasn't that I couldn't believe my father's death but I never wanted to believe it.
I was just processing this sudden shock and then a man came into the room and said "sister who's this young boy?" My mother replied - " he's my one and only son"
Mother introduced me to him said he was her brother and my uncle specifically he was her step brother but she had one real brother also.
She said "Aug meet uncle Ron"

Everything was very new to me. But that fact that my father had died wasn't leaving my mind.
Mother said - "fast Aug go with your uncle and never come back again"
"What is she saying, i couldn't believe what i was hearing, why is mother telling me to go, when I need her most?"
I said -" why mother , why are you telling me to go, we both can go home together"
She said - "listen to me son, i cannot come with you , you have to go , it's dangerous here, go home"
