Four days had passed since our departure from home.
My goal was to train harder and become stronger. And our destination was a place that I've only read in books and heard legends about.
Most people believed that Dragon race had gone extinct and most believed that there is a magical place where dragons live, this story was nothing more than a fairy tale to me in the childhood.
But this time it was different because a dragon was travelling with me I was assured that magical place exists.

Noir told me that there is a gate in a forest which leads directly to his village but it's guarded by a powerful god who never allows humans through.
And there was another gate but it was hidden somewhere in the northern snowy mountain range.
Because it was very difficult for humans to reach his people left it unguarded.

A gate with a guardian who doesn't allow humans to pass and a gate without guardian (but snowy). The answer was clear to me which path we were gonna take.
We headed to the northern mountains.

We used teleportation gate to reach at guild nearby to those mountains. We arrived at a snowy village.
Apart from the cold, village was quite fun. People here were very friendly.
Guild master requested me to do a mission for them because I was only A rank adventurer available at that time we accepted. Noir was also getting more better at using his powers in human form he got a very good control over his dragon breath in a very short amount of time.

Mission was to take care a group of ice bears which was attacking a village situated higher in mountains. Since we were going to that direction it was another reason to accept this mission.

We arrived at village after sunset. Guild master had prepared a place for us to stay night so we fall asleep after dinner. We woke at middle of the night after hearing strange rumbling noises.It were those ice bears.
We ambushed them with Noir's dragon breath and I did continue sword strikes at them. I was becoming more and more good at using SNOWBLADE. But this wasn't enough to draw it's full power.

We successfully eliminated all the bears and collected our reward next day. Noir has also leveled up to B rank.
Hence we continued our journey.
