It all started with the Tower. We first opened our eyes within the Tower, then comes flashing next were the memories of our past lives, birth, life and death across time, worlds, galaxies and beyond. After recalling those memories, we instinctively knew without saying anything, more on like engraved within our souls: If the Beginning was the Tower, the End would be the Tower.

As it was always have been, the main lobby of the Tower was full of life. People kept on going in and out the ten glowing portal. Other than that, if an ordinary modern person have seen this scene, they would have thought that they have run to a cosplay event.
A group of beautiful elves in lovely yukatas were holding a couple of guns as they chatted animatedly among themselves happily about the latest released K-drama episodes.
"Ugh... I hate guns... got PSD after living in a battle zone." a hulking man with a mustache shuddered.
"But what about girls, man?" His buddy, a dragon who transformed to a human form asked.
" Of course guns out and girls in!"
"Always!" they fist-bumped and laughed heartily.
In another corner was two dwarves loudly bargaining with a middle-aged man about the sale of materials and supplies whilst drinking beer. Business-minded people buy and sell things through their Tower points, the only currency accepted by all. The Tower was full of activity, people of different kinds, immersed in their daily life.
" Michaelo my boy! Completed your mission?" A grandpa with a wooden cane asked a suave looking young man in a modern suit.
"It was only through your instructions, Monsieur Belmont that I have accomplished well in this task." the young man bowed politely.
"Hohoho, you sure know how to butter people up—ehhh? Ellah is that you?!" the old man exclaimed, seeing a petite girl wwith East-Asian features wearing a hoodie jacket walking towards him.
" Don't shout old man and yeah, it's me."the girl greeted him somewhat grumpily, unwrapping a lollipop and put in her mouth.
Michaelo frowned at her behavior "How rude of you.."
Ellah pointed her lollipop at him. " I've always been rude. Got no point in changing now."
"Hohoho, it seems like 'System 11' is not in a good mood."the old man stroked his beard thoughtfully. " Your friend is coming over here.
"Who?Big sister Hua Hua ?" she looked around and saw her pretty friend in her usual sky blue cheongsam, then launched herself to Li Hua in a waist hug.
Due to her short height, Ellah could only look up to the average Li Hua and hug her at the waist.
"Wuwuwu...Hua Hua, the stinky Tower is really bullying me again!"
Li Hua consoled her friend." You certainly have a rough time. What happened?" she asked gently.
"Remember the time I complained about my latest mission because of the jerk [Target]? Because of a brainless idiot, I got demoted and penalized!"
"I just want to beat—no, teach him a lesson!"
"So did you...ehem...teach him a lesson?" the old man prodded.
"Of course I did!"
Everyone:"..."
" That's okay, I'm sure you'll be given better or even the missions next time." Li Hua once more comforted her. "Although your [Target] was certainly an idiot, some Systems also have crazier ones."
"Humph! Failing to accomplish a mission and blaming it to the [Target] is a sign of incompetence and unprofessional behavior." Michaelo sneered with disdain.
Li Hua shot a glare at Michaelo then resumed comforting Ellah. "Everyone could fail. Don't gloss over it."
The old man chimed in. " That's right! I even once failed a mission because of a kid with a middle school syndrome. Those were the tough times, I tell you!"
"I once became a System for a pervert!"
"Really!?"
"Peeping was only way for the [Target] to level up!"
"Just what is the Tower thinking?"

Gazing down from the balcony, a petite woman in a hoodie smiled wryly and inquired to no one but more of herself.
"They were right. Just what exactly are you thinking of? Why did you wanted me to fail this lackluster mission?"
"Talking to yourself again?" the stiff young man named Michaelo earlier scoffed.
" First Elder Gavriyela."
"I'm rather sure It hears me, child. The Tower just pretends not to." Ellah replied serenely.
Michaelo shrugged. "Perhaps you were right. After all, you were the first among the first to come here."

Yoohoo~ Author's here!
Writing is really a difficult art, I say. I once used to sort of critic other novels for being disgustingly late in updating but yeah, making content is not an easy task.
To all aspiring writers, I salute you!!!!!
