My body was being dragged across the ground until I was thrown against a pillar of some sort and my hands were bound "does Anyone know torture?" no one responded "Hey Im talkin--" Boom "You Bandits got lucky" the old Elf said "And you" he pointed to me "You did this to the ones I didn't take" I raised my head, he was standing about 6 feet away from me "Yep" he looked around "Why would a human be in these woods, especially one so young" He said to himself "Why are you in these woods" the Old elf asked me "I was teleported here if you would belive that" he shook his head "I Dont but you seemed to want to do the right thing, whats your name" I was pulling against the restraints "Im Ezra, and you are" the old man waved his hand forward "Suprised you don't know me, I'm Ither the old Elf King" he bowed as if towards an audience "Well let me help you out there Ezra" he grabbed the dagger off of the Man I had injured and cut the rope that they had bound my hands with.
I stood up and rubbed my wrists "So why were they trying to kidnap you?" he shrugged "Pribabaly for fun" he was being sarcastic "Now answer me truthfully" he brought the tip of the dagger up to my throat in an instant "Why are you in our Forrest" I shrugged "I answered truthfully last time" he clapped "Well I accept that answer for now, Come with me, you'll be needing a reward and to be sent back to your family" he began to walk on the road, but I stood there "Whats wrong kid" I shook my head "I Dont Have Any Family" Ither raised an eyebrow "Sure you do kid" I took a step back "Not that wants me, they don't care about me." he sighed "Well I'm still brining you back to the kingdom since I cant leave any child out here and still die a happy death" I still didn't walk forward "Look I'm not going to send you back to your family, but ill need a reason" I sighed "Is abuse a good enough reason, mistreatment and overall not caring" I raised my shirt or what remained of it and turned around "Inflicted by them" his eyebrows furled "Ok you have my word, if I ever find them I'm going to show them just as much pain" I lowered my shirt and walked towards him "Ok lets get going" when I got close he put a hand in front of me "Impresive" I shook my head "Im still not done yet aligning them" he looked confused "I mean I still need to align the 12 other mana hubs" he chuckled and shook his head "While that's impressive, I was meaning your core, I can faintly sense around 3 types of mana" we continued to walk "Good thing I didn't die, my grandaughter would have found a way to revive me to kill me again" he chuckled to himself "Sounds like she cares" he nodded and we continued our silent walk.
"We should set up camp" he grabbed a handful of twigs and sticks and threw them into a pile "This should do for now" he slowly began to start a fire with one of the sticks by twisting it quickly.
he got the fire started quickly and we sat there in silence "So we have 2 options for what we can do once we get to the kingdom, we either send you back to the humans or I give the option that you could train under me, since I doubt you could fend for yourself and well you ain't got a family" I nodded "That would do me a great service" he scratched his head "Are your sure your young, my Grandaughter is constantly playing with toys and stuff, yall look about the same age" I nodded "Different envinments, produce different people, I've had to adapt to live" I read that in a magazine in my last life "yea they do, but they don't produce people with the intelligence of a grown adult at the estimated age of like 7" I shrugged "Always been smart, how do you think I formed my core and am currently aligning my mana hubs" he looked confused again "When you say aligning your mana hubs, what do you mean?" I scratched the side of my head "So you have areas where mana natural chooses to come in, and your body then makes veins to then take that mana to your core, you know that right" he nodded "Yes that is the simple part, but I've never heard of anyone aligning them" I shrugged "With a lot of effort you can make it more efficient by making the main hub area face more inward, but it takes a long time and causes quite the bit of pain" he nodded "I guess even at my age you still learn new things, well now I have a reason to take you on as a student" I smiled "Nice to know" he nodded "well you are a prodigy, so if it wasn't me then any other Teacher would have tried to take you on as a student"
"Well we should get going, we arent too far from the outerwalls of the kingdom" he said after a bit of silence, I nodded and we cleaned up the area and then began our journey through the woods in darkness
