Sera finally said, after the two had been strolling the Rose Palace's garden in utter silence. It had been over an hour, and not once of them had said anything, they don't even know who initiated the walk, but somehow, they had come to this point, walking side by side since neither of them had anything better to do.
But the truth was, the silence had been killing Sera the whole time. A part of her was ridden with guilt for failing in her scheme, while the other wondered why Aurora was so awfully silent.
Perhaps she's heart broken. Sera had thought. And I can't even blame her. I too would be mad if I my lover would abandon me without a word.
And she doesn't even know the truth.
