Chapter 41 - A Duel of kings [1]

King vongarth stared at Rhett lethargically. Rhett stared back with the same energy, walking over to a knight from the crowd and signalling for a sword. The guard threw him one and he caught it in style.

The earlier battle with Mychel at the battle stadium had taught him how to catch a sword and doing so now, he felt as if he had impressed the crowd. He rolled the sword and said to King vongarth:

"C'mon old man, let's do this!".

King vongarth looked at Dhamsel at the terrace and she could only stare at him with a stare of 'i warned you.'

King vongarth looked at his cloth, it was dirty and not like him and that made him bite the lower part of his lips in self disgust.

How did it come to this?

He signalled to a guard to hand him a sword which they did, throwing it from the crowd. He dodged it because it seemed like it was aiming for his legs. Picking it up he said to Rhett:

"Let the best man win".
