Chapter 4 - Ethan resolve

Ethan Jones eyelids started to lift open as his vision was now becoming clearer again.

He sat up and placed his hand on his throat and felt the pain gone.

"Took you long enough, princess. Man, I thought you were dead you idiot", Johnathan said as he walked out of the kitchen with his mouth full of food . The dude just walks around like he owns the place.

"What are you doing here so late at night Jonathan?" Ethan asked, as he rested his back on the chair.

"What are you talking about? It's eight in the morning" Johnathan replied . And immediately , Ethan jumped up and went to confirm, truly it was eight.

'' What the hell, So I passed out this whole time?' Ethan Jones thought.

"Your uncle came back yesterday and found you on the floor , he checked up on you and placed you on the chair to sleep. He later called me to inform me" Johnathan explained and saw that his best friend was lost in thought.

'So just that small liquid did this to me? Just like the way a robot hates water that's the same with me now? Am I a robot?' Ethan Jones thought as he checked his stats and saw that his HP was back to 100% again and the daily challenge was now renewed.

"Uh..hello?" Johnathan snaps his fingers at Ethan Jones face bringing him back to reality

"Sorry man" Ethan Jones said with a nervous smile.

"I see you're feeling well now, go freshen up and let's head to school" Johnathan urged and Ethan Jones walked to his room.

"Of course he can't take a bath , he just put on his school uniform and they both headed out.

As Ethan and Johnathan made their way through the bustling streets, their path unexpectedly intersected with a group of imposing figures.

Towering over them was a hulking man, his presence exuding an air of menace that sent a shiver down Ethan's spine.

Following him were four equally intimidating individuals, their hardened expressions hinting at a life accustomed to confrontation.

"Oh, if it isn't Jonathan. Long time no see, fella," the leader of the group boomed, his voice reverberating off the surrounding buildings. The voice of their leader Jacoby " sent a ripple of recognition through the crowded sidewalk, drawing curious glances from passersby.

Johnathan's demeanor shifted slightly, a flicker of unease crossing his features at the sound of his name. "Hey, man, I promise I'll pay you back. Give me until the weekend, man," he replied, his voice tinged with a nervous edge as he fidgeted with the strap of his bag.

Ethan observed the tense exchange with a mixture of curiosity and apprehension. Who were these people, and what did they want from Johnathan? The atmosphere crackled with tension, each word laden with unspoken implications.

As the confrontation lingered, Ethan couldn't help but feel a knot of apprehension tighten in his stomach. Whatever debt Johnathan owed, it seemed to carry weighty consequences, and Ethan couldn't shake the feeling that their chance encounter with Jacoby and his companions was only the beginning of a larger, more ominous unfolding.

The hulking figure known as Jacoby regarded Johnathan with a steely gaze, his expression unreadable yet unmistakably threatening. "Now, if I let you go just like that, you won't be gingered to pay me back, will you?" he growled, his voice carrying a dangerous edge that brooked no argument.

As his words hung in the air, Jacoby signaled to his comrades with a subtle nod, a silent command that sent them into motion. The four men closed in on Johnathan with calculated precision, their movements fluid yet purposeful.

Ethan's heart pounded in his chest as he watched the scene unfold before him. Fear and adrenaline surged through his veins, urging him to intervene, yet he remained rooted to the spot, paralyzed by a combination of shock and uncertainty.

Johnathan, sensing the imminent threat, braced himself for the onslaught, his jaw set in grim determination.

"What the hell man, who are these people?"Ethan Jones asked.

"Shut up Ethan and stay calm,"Jonathan said in fear.

Despite his outward composure, Ethan could see the tension in his guardian's frame, the weight of their predicament bearing down upon him like a leaden mantle.

As Jacoby henchmen closed in, Ethan's mind raced, desperately searching for a way out of the dangerous predicament they found themselves in. With each passing moment, the sense of impending danger intensified, casting a pall of uncertainty over their fates.

In the midst of the chaos, Ethan knew that their only hope lay in finding a way to escape the clutches of Jacoby and his men. But with time running out and the odds stacked against them, the outcome remained uncertain, leaving Ethan to grapple with the harsh reality of their perilous situation.

As Ethan's internal bot displayed with a new notification, his curiosity piqued at the mention of an optional quest with a reward of 50. The mysterious percentage had always intrigued him, a symbol of untapped potential waiting to be unlocked.

With a sense of excitement tinged with apprehension. The prospect of delving deeper into the capabilities of the Internal Bot filled him with a sense of anticipation.

His mind raced with possibilities as he contemplated the significance of reaching 100. If the Internal Bot operated on a similar principle to an android, then achieving maximum capacity could herald a profound transformation, unlocking new powers and capabilities beyond his imagination.

With a sense of determination, Ethan resolved to embark on the quest, driven by a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for adventure.

But the quest wasn't an easy one though, one Ethan Jones vs five huge boys who had auto bot arms and some had auto legs.

The bots companies later broke the bots down to bits to fit your budgets.

You can purchase a full Autobot if you have the cash, but if you don't, you can always purchase the body part of the bot you see fit.

Some buy the legs to help them fly for three hours max because of the rocket that's beneath it . some choose hands cause of The blasters, some choose body to aid them. But even those body parts aren't cheap at all, it's most likely these guys stole it , cause based on their looks they look like thugs.
