Chapter 12 - C11 Sovereign Fury The Succubus Reign

She wore imperial attire that accentuated both her s*xiness and the power she held. Her dress was an exquisite blend of dark crimson and black, adorned with intricate gold embroidery.

The form-fitting bodice highlighted her hourglass figure, while the flowing skirt and high slit showcased her long, toned legs.

Her raven-black hair was styled in elaborate braids, interwoven with golden threads and jewels, cascading down her back.

Her eyes, glowing with an eerie purple light, exuded both allure and danger.

A delicate, yet authoritative golden laurel crown sat atop her head, signaling her high status within the Demon Star Realms.

Her lips, painted a deep, seductive black, curved into a smile that hinted at both amusement and contempt.

Accompanying her was a chain of equally armed-to-the-teeth Incubi, their 220 centimeters tall battle armor matching that of the herald.

Each moved with a predatory grace, their presence a stark reminder of the power Lilith commanded.

Evelyn Marlowe, despite her unease, stood to greet the imposing figure.

"Youre Imperial Highness Lilith De Inferno, thank you for coming."

Lilith's gaze swept the room before settling on Augustus Hunter, who sat with a determined scowl.

"Mr. Hunter, I understand you wanted to speak with me."

Augustus Hunter rose from his seat, his expression stern.

"Ambassador Lilith, my grandson was brutally attacked by a man under your protection. This is unacceptable, and we demand justice."

Lilith raised an eyebrow, her expression unyielding.

"Your grandson assaulted my honor, and he faced the consequences of his actions. The man you speak of acted in my defense, and I stand by his actions."

"This is a matter of family honor,"

Augustus retorted, his voice tight with anger.

"Family honor?"

Lilith's voice dripped with sarcasm.

"Your grandson dishonored himself the moment he had the thought of breathing the same air I did. If anything, he is fortunate that a member of you're species intervened and not my guards."

Evelyn interjected, trying to diffuse the tension.

"Your Imperial Highness Lilith, Mr. Hunter, perhaps we can reach a mutually agreeable resolution. We must consider the broader implications."

Lilith's eyes glowed brighter, her patience wearing thin.

"Let me make this clear, Mr. Hunter. Any attempt to harm the man will be met with the full force of the Demon Star Realms. Your family's 'honor' does not give you the right to touch the things I consider mine."

Augustus's eyes blazed with fury, but he knew the precarious position he was in.

"So you expect us to simply accept this insult?"

Lilith's smile was predatory.

"Accept it, or face the consequences. The choice is yours."

Evelyn, sensing the conversation spiraling out of control, stepped forward.

"Ambassador Lilith, Mr. Hunter, let's not escalate this further. We need to find a solution that avoids conflict."

Augustus clenched his fists, his body trembling with suppressed rage.

"What do you propose then?"

Evelyn took a deep breath, choosing her words carefully.

"Your Imperial Highness Lilith, would you be willing to extend an official apology on behalf of the man, acknowledging the incident and offering assurances that such a misunderstanding will not occur again?"

The moment Evelyn said this, the room's temperature seemed to drop below zero. Lilith's expression turned icy, her purple eyes blazing with fury.

"You, a f*cking insect of a barely level one Interstellar civilization, dare to ask me, an aunt to an emperor of a civilization that is only one step away from entering Level Four, to apologize?! Demon Knights, seize these insects now!"

At her command, the demon knights moved with lightning speed, pushing both Augustus and Evelyn to their knees.

They placed their plasma-edged longswords against their throats, ready to decapitate them.

"Listen here, Evelyn,"

Lilith said, her voice dripping with venom.

"The only reason you're still alive is because I like you, youre easy to deal with. As for you,"

She continued, turning her gaze to Augustus. She raised her high heel and stomped on Augustus's head, forcing him to the ground.

"One more word, and I'll exterminate your whole bloodline. I was merciful enough not to pursue your descendant's actions, yet you dare demand youre so called justice!"

Augustus struggled to speak, his voice choked with fear and rage.

"You... you can't do this!"

"I can and I will,"

Lilith replied coldly.

"Let this be a reminder that your family has overstepped its bounds"

With a motion of her head, Lilith signaled her demon knights' commander.

Without hesitation, he swung his plasma-edged longsword.

The blade easily passed through the part where Augustus's left arm connected to his shoulder, slicing it off and cauterizing the wound instantly.

The sizzling arm fell to the floor, and a blood-freezing, soul-shattering scream echoed through the room.

Evelyn's eyes widened in horror, but she knew better than to intervene.

She watched as Augustus writhed on the floor, his face contorted in pain.

Lilith stepped back, her expression unchanging.

"Let this be a lesson to all of you. My patience has limits. Cross me again, and I will not be so lenient."

Evelyn, gathering her courage, spoke in a steady voice.

"Youre Imperial Highness Lilith, we understand your position. I will ensure that this does not happen again."

Lilith's eyes narrowed, but she nodded slightly.

"See that it doesn't. Now, get him out of my sight."

The demon knights lifted Augustus to his feet, his face pale and drenched in sweat. He glared at Lilith, but his defiance had been shattered.

As Augustus and his entourage hurriedly left the room, Evelyn remained behind, her composure slowly returning.

"Youre Imperial Highness Lilith, thank you for your understanding."

Lilith waved her hand dismissively.

"Just make sure your people understand their place, Evelyn. I won't tolerate another incident like this."

Lilith declared as she took a seat, and crossed her long legs.

"Now then since I'm here let's discuss that commercial pact of ours"

Lilith said so naturally as If she just didn't order her man to cut off another man's arm.

She's f*cking crazy!

Evelyn couldn't help but curse In her mind as she looked at the woman In front of her who was above everyone else and only below one man In her Interstellar nations borders that occupied a sizable chunk of the Milky Way.

...

"Urghhh..."

I woke up with my head pounding and my vision spinning.

Groaning, I blinked several times, trying to clear the haze.

As my surroundings came into focus, I noticed pieces of my clothing and Lilith's littering the place.

The penthouse looked like a war zone, with signs of an intense "battle" from the previous night all over the place.

Furniture was overturned, and there were all both my and Lilith's bodily fluids on the walls and floor.

Clearly, we had been... enthusiastic.

I tried to sit up but felt a sudden urge to throw up.

Clutching my stomach, I practically crawled on all fours to the bathroom at record speed like a monster straight out from a horror movie.

I barely made it to the luxurious beyond words toilet before I began vomiting violently.

The contents of my stomach poured out, and I heaved until I could vomit no more, my body trembling from the effort.

"F*ck I'm not drinking for an entire year at least..."

I cursed loudly making a promise I was sure to break, after all, I knew myself best, I was a helpless alcoholic among other things.

While I sat on the cold tile floor, leaning against the bathtub.

Well I seem to have been ditched, oh well I got what I wanted and that's all that matters. I thought as I took a deep breath, I forced myself to stand and stumbled back into the bedroom to gather my scattered clothes.

I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and winced.
