Every person is measured at their birth for their potential. It shows rank one could reach in their lifetime. A potential measured at birth is not always accurate.

Awakening Trial -

A trial which one had to undergo at the time of awakening. The trial can be individual or group trial. Performing exceptionally in trial and completing hidden quest within can increase chances of awakening Soul Ability.

Abilitiies

1) Common Ability- A ability which can be gained by using a skill books found rarely in dungeons.

2) Special Abilitiy - A ability awakened rarely at the time of awakening. The chances of awakening one are very rare. But the chances can be increased by attuning one's body to a mana tome of mythic rank or higher.

3) Soul Ability - A ability which can rarely awakened if one completes hidden trial.

It is rarer than special abilitiy and even after completing hidden trial the chances of awakening one are less than 1%. There are less than 1000 people who had soul ability in the world of Eryndor.
