[ NOTE : There is no time or number limit for the quest. Host can keep gaining experience points infinitely ]

Reid crossed his hand ,his thoughts piecing up the basic functions of the Quest system before him.

Did the experience reward points of the soul beast double because they are twice as strong as spirit beast ?

Or is there some other factor at play here?

Reid was yet again entranced by the system, losing himself into the world of assumptions and speculation.

Apart from the issue of double experience points gained through soul beasts, there was another pricking matter.

Reid was stupified by some of the locked missions. He deduced that since there were Class and Profession missions, the system would offer the features down the line.

He began theorizing about the Profession and class features would affect his stat and proficiency in skill but in the end, he decided to postpone racking his brain about something that he will find out soon anyways.

He speculated that they were features the system will offer to him after reaching up a certain level.

Deciding to put away the Quest system, Reid opened the Systems inventory via pressing the System inventory word floating at the top right hand side of the Primodial Codex system.

The Primodial Codex system was designed in such a way that, when Reid puts his fingers on his forehead, the status screen would appear.

Up above the status screen were three visible features and four more hidden features.

[ STATUS ] : Unlocked

[ QUEST SYSTEM ] : Unlocked

[ INVENTORY ]: Unlocked

Reid spirituality intertwined with the world's spirituality, creating a scene similar to dancing runes created when he opened the Quest system feature.

Settling down, the quest system dimmed down as it rewrote and changed the displayed words into dozen of slots.

It was an image like representation of cubed sized units.

They were exactly forty four (44) empty units of inventory .

"It's just as I thought, experience points can be used as currency to exchange for stuff from the system ."

Reid whispered after staring at the inventory for a long while. He then shifted his head in a certain direction, his thirst for blood corrupting the air around him.

It was time to test his strength and mine some experience points .

....

Up above in the heart of the Antari jungle, a scout was clad in the livery of the House Drego. He was holding a compass and map as he took large strides following tracks barely visible to the naked eye.

Coby Draki was an elite scout of House Drego. Yes, he was a bastard, and so was his father who used to take out all his woes and stress on Coby.

Coby was glad to escape his home when the mandatory enlistment to the private army of the House of Drego requested all boys above sixteen to report for war.

He enlisted as a scout and he had never once regretted his decision, unlike his other mates.

Most of the rookies he enlisted with were dead now, but he persisted and survived.

He was what Reid would call a... ' tough son of a bitch !! ' if he knew what kind of life and death situations Coby escaped with his life hanging by a thread.

Although lucritive, the job was dangerous and Coby knew this better than anyone.

Taking the initiative, Coby Draki had decided to hand over his scouting boots to a fresh pair of legs.

He decided to retire. He wanted to enjoy the rest of his life as a common merchant with his soon to be wife and child.

But fate had other things instored for Coby.

When he went to the scouts hall, after he had made up his mind, finally deciding to hand over his retirement notice, a mission was posted on the scouting mission board.

[ Accompany the Young lord and his party to the Antari Region

Requirements:

must have formed a blue mana core

Rewards :

Twenty thousand Nova plates]

It was too enticing, even for Coby who had quite a fortune saved up from all his years of service.

It was double his wealth !!

And just like any man wanting to get a better retirement life,Coby's greed took over.

' one last mission ! '

That was what he told himself after constantly being begged by his fiance not to take on the mission.

It was a choice he made, a choice that he regretted at this exact moment, after coming face to face with a monster.

Daryl Grisha ! One of the four horsemen of House Grisha!

....

Coby had been tracking a spirit beast ,one that likely had a dungeon token.

He had been on the beast's trail for over an hour. Biding his time, trying to ambush and kill it in one strike.

He succeeded. He retrieved the dungeon token without any mishaps. Everything was going according to plan.

That is until the air around him turned warm, unnaturally so. It wasn't a subtle shift, it was oppressive, suffocating and made him feel insignificant, like an ant to be stepped on.

Coby's breath hitched feeling his chest tightening.

To him, this was an alien sensation as someone who had honed his resonance with wind to the highest level.

His wind affinity had always been his sanctuary, a gift that made him the fastest and swiftest scout.

But now, his confidence faltered.

All his power and speed rendered meaningless in an instant.

Affinity rank suppression !

His finely-tuned senses were overwhelmed, every nerve screaming of danger, urging him to flee.

And tunning around he understood why. Why he was suffocating on his own, why he felt the so insignificant .

It was Daryl Grisha! Leader of the four horsemen of House Grisha!.

He was doomed !

Realizing his fate, Coby gave up when he saw Daryl Grisha floating mid- air, his feet ablaze with a blue fire.

Blinking, Coby felt Daryl's hand already touching his head.

' so fast !'

His dark hair becoming chared with every passing moment. Then ...

Puchii !!

Coby's head popped. Like a watermelon shot point blank with a shotgun. His last thoughts being...

' am so sorry Mary! I should have stayed with you ! '
