First of all, I'd like to thank you all for reading my novel thus far!
In this volume, we've uncovered more about the grim, malicious substance lurking within those Resident Evil-like murderers. The chaos escalated quickly, turning Kurohashi into a national spectacle of bloodshed and horror.
Our protagonist, Destirling Shouichi, has endured immense tragedy — both physically and mentally. Yet he remains determined to overcome it all. He's much stronger than me, the author. Through him, I've come to understand just how stoic one can be in the face of relentless adversity.
But his journey is far from over. As long as he remains in this town, tragedy will continue to pursue him.
Looking ahead to Volume 3, I must warn you, things will take an even darker turn. A truly disturbing event awaits, one so tragic that even I, the author, feel a deep sense of sorrow for what Shouichi must go through. If you've made it this far, please prepare yourself, as this next volume is definitely not for the faint of heart.
However, is it all worth it in the end? My short, reassuring answer is yes! I wholeheartedly believe that as long as people refuse to give up and keep pushing forward, just like Shouichi, they will eventually triumph. The battle will be won by those who choose to act.
