"One million black gold, that's a little bit expensive, and I have zero black gold in my account,"
Mark muttered in thought.
"Or, the game said an item only appears if it can be bought. That means my ten dollars could cover the million black gold. No, that can't be, because I just used my ten dollars, but none of my available items has turned gray. Does that mean I can still buy them?"
"Hmmmmmm, well, it's worth the try."
He clicked on the one million black gold.

He muttered, lifting his arm and staring at the bracelet. It felt heavy, proof that it was pure gold, with small markings designing its exterior.

Immediately he closed the interface. The wooden sword that he had gained earlier began to reconfigure itself, its scabbard along with it, breaking into cubes of code and reforming into the black dagger, adorned by red markings that resembled a snake pattern at its edge. It was about twenty centimeters long, being shorter than the wooden sword.
Its scabbard had also turned black, bearing the same patterns as the dagger. Mark pulled it out, astonished by its beauty as he stared at it, mesmerized by its captivating unique radiance.

{Kill 50 forest rabbits}
(Duration: 24 hours)
(Reward: 10 dollars)
---
The quest info snapped Mark out of his daze. He shifted his focus toward it, reading the message as it closed after.
Out of the blue, a creature that seemed like a rabbit jumped out of a bush beside him. It had a brown coat with red eyes, claws sticking out of its hands and feet, and over a dozen sharp teeth sticking out of its open mouth.
It looked like a predator and had no cuteness in the slightest manner. It stared at Mark, murderous intent visible in its eyes.

The interface appeared as Mark looked at it.
"So this is my prey. Its HP is twenty, not as much as mine, but I don't know its attack power. Guess I'll have to find out!"
He muttered, his voice turning into a battle cry as he dashed towards the rabbit, pulling out his dagger and stabbing it in its back, killing it in an instant.

"Wow, it was that easy, and I have to kill 50 of these creatures. This will be a breeze."
"Kyee."
The creature sounded off before turning into cubes of code.
"Kyee."
"Kyee."
"Kyee."
Several sounds echoed in the forest, both close and far from the distance of Mark. The sounds seemed to be moving closer to him, and in a minute, he was surrounded by dozens of forest rabbits, all bearing the same features as the one he had killed.
The noticeable difference was their size, which ranged from half the size of the one he killed to three times its size.
As the sizes differed, so did their HPs. The largest ones had HPs of 40, while the smallest ones had HPs of 10.
"What the—my bad, this won't be that easy,"
He apologized to himself, pulling out his dagger and preparing for a full-on assault.
"Slash, slash, slash."
He tactically dodged the rabbits' attacks, striking them one at a time with all his attacks dealing instant kills.
In less than a minute, he had killed 20 of the creatures without breaking a sweat.
"Kyee."
One of the large rabbits jumped towards him, stretching out its claws and opening its mouth to attack. Its attack was simple and predictable, causing Mark to see through it in an instant as he stretched out his dagger, aiming to pierce through the rabbit's stomach when it came into range.

The interface popped up in front of Mark, the dagger converting back into its original state in an instant.
Since he was distracted by the interface, he didn't hesitate nor withdraw his weapon. The rabbit's stomach touched the tip of the dagger before it converted back to the wooden sword, piercing through its belly as it got stuck on it.
The interface closed off, allowing Mark to see the corpse of the rabbit in his wooden sword as the weight of the rabbit made him lower his weapon.
The rabbit fell to the ground, turning into cubes of code after a few seconds as Mark stared at it, puzzled but at the same time amazed about his actions since he didn't see the timing of the transformation.

The interface flashed in front of Mark, not giving him the time to catch a glance at it.
Another interface flashed in front of him. Since he was still in a battle, he didn't bother checking it out, positioning his sword, and planning to take the fight seriously.
"Kyee."
"Kyee."
"Kyee."
The rabbits sounded off as they hopped around, gathering in front of Mark. With all of them in front of him, his appraisal skill activated, alerting Mark that 36 forest rabbits remained, not missing those that hid in the bushes.
"Kyee."
"Kyee."
"Kyee."
They sounded off together as what seemed to be an aura formed around their bodies, the auras fusing into one massive aura as it started turning faintly red.
The rabbits that stood on the front line opened their mouths, and some of the auras that floated around went into their mouths and started converging, turning into small flames. The aura around the rabbits started being sucked by the flames, and in a matter of seconds, they turned into basketball-sized fireballs.
