Chapter 11: The Glory of Dying for the Leader!

As Yang Dongqing bulldozed his way through the narrow corridor of the Viper Gang's headquarters, the monitor in the control room displayed nothing short of chaos.

The gang's members, clad in black and wielding steel blades, charged at him without hesitation. Their assault was relentless, but Yang's iron-like body deflected every blade with a metallic clang.

**Clang!**

The first blade shattered against his forehead, leaving the attacker dumbfounded.

"That… That's impossible!"

In the control room, Su Mu's eyes gleamed with excitement, and a sinister smile crept across his face. "This is the power I need."

On the screen, Yang Dongqing's cold demeanor didn't waver. With a swift motion, he shattered a blade with his bare hand. The black-clad attackers showed no fear; their eyes were filled with a fanatical gleam.

Su Mu's voice rang in their earpieces. "Test his limits. Find a weakness."

The gang members obeyed without hesitation, adjusting their attack angles, even if it left them vulnerable to Yang's counterattacks.

**Bang! Bang! Bang!**

Yang's steel-hard fists smashed through their defenses, leaving blood and destruction in his wake. Yet, he couldn't shake the unease building in his chest.

One of the gang members, his chest cavity visibly caved in, stood up and charged again. His face bore a fervent expression as he shouted, "For the Leader!"

Yang's pupils contracted. "How is he still moving?"

Despite suffering fatal injuries, the gang members charged with relentless determination. Yang, accustomed to dealing with cowards who feared death, was unsettled by their unyielding fervor.

Grabbing one severely injured man, Yang growled, "Where is Mo Li?"

The man spat blood and sneered, "For the Leader!"

His only response was to swing his remaining arm at Yang.

With a cold expression, Yang twisted the attacker's arm until it snapped. Bone fragments pierced through the flesh, eliciting a pained scream.

"Answer me! Where is Mo Li?"

"Long live the Leader!"

With his last ounce of strength, the man lunged at Yang, trying to bite him. Yang's steel fist met the attacker's skull, shattering it with a sickening crunch. The lifeless body crumpled to the ground.

Watching the carnage on the monitor, Mo Li collapsed to her knees, vomiting into a trash can. Her face was pale, and her trembling was uncontrollable.

Su Mu shook his head in mock disappointment. "What a waste of a good steak."

He swirled the red wine in his glass, his gaze fixed on Mo Li.

"Why?" Mo Li finally asked, her voice trembling with both fear and fury.

Su Mu ignored her.

"Why are you doing this? Just to ask Yang Dongqing a few questions? So many people had to die for your amusement! Why?"

Her voice cracked with desperation. "Those were your men! And yet you mourn a steak more than their lives. What do human lives even mean to you?"

Silence.

A suffocating silence filled the room until Su Mu broke it with a laugh.

"Hahaha… HAHAHAHA!"

His laughter was unrestrained, his expression one of unadulterated glee.

"What's so funny?" Mo Li's voice was filled with disbelief.

"You!" Su Mu pointed at her, his tone mocking. "So amusing. Standing here in the filth, yet unable to bear the sight of others wallowing in it. You're the reason the world is so entertaining!"

"Human lives? What are they worth? Nothing more than lives. Do you know what they mean to me? They're disposable, just like this wineglass. If it breaks, I can always get another."

He gestured to the screen, where Yang Dongqing fought like a demon, his fists coated in blood.

"The Viper Gang, you've heard of them, haven't you? You know the kind of scum that gathers here. These are not people; they're waste. And for waste like them, dying for me is a privilege."

Turning to one of the black-clad men behind him, Su Mu asked, "Isn't that right?"

The man immediately knelt on one knee, his face glowing with fanaticism. "Indeed, Leader! To die for you is the highest honor! For people like us—society's garbage—you gave us meaning, gave us life! We'll fulfill your will with our lives!"

Mo Li's fear deepened. To her, Su Mu exuded an arrogance so profound it was inhuman. It was as if the world revolved solely around him, and everyone else was merely a plaything for his amusement. Just NPCs

Meanwhile, Yang Dongqing had reached the second floor of the headquarters. The building had five floors in total, each teeming with traps and ambushes waiting for him.

Su Mu took another sip of wine, a smirk playing on his lips. "Let the games continue."
