The night sky was dotted with stars, and a gentle breeze stirred the fabric of Revan's clothes. The moonlight enveloped his body, creating a figure that appeared both captivating and dignified. The rustling of the leaves provided a soft soundtrack, completing the serenity of the night.
"Although I'm not tired, continuing to walk would be a waste of time," Revan muttered softly, his mind searching for a solution. "Alright, I'll use that method again."
He stopped walking, standing tall. Revan lowered his head for a moment, concentrating his strength in his leg muscles. The ground beneath him began to crack subtly, forming a pattern resembling a spider's web from the immense pressure he gathered.
In an instant, his body shot upward into the air, cutting through the cold night wind. Revan used the momentum to stabilize his body, maintaining his balance. From that height, the world below appeared as a miniature, while the moon seemed closer, shining brightly above his head.
As his body began to descend, the rushing wind surrounded him. Carefully, Revan gathered the soft winds, turning them into a small vortex, directing it beneath his legs. The vortex transformed into a powerful but controlled air cushion, slowing his fall without damaging the ground below. The impact force was evenly distributed, and when his feet touched the earth, Revan landed smoothly.
"Efficient and without a trace," he murmured, briefly glancing at his feet before continuing forward. Before him stood a divine tree, its great door opening slowly, radiating a soft light as if welcoming its master's return.
The warmth of the space enveloped him. In the corner of the room, his disheveled bed caught his attention. Revan sighed. "Ah... I forgot to tidy it up," he muttered emotionlessly, raising his hand slowly. The wind around him swirled, moving like invisible hands, rearranging the bed, mattress, pillows, and blankets. In an instant, everything was neat again.
"Done," he murmured, then shifted his gaze to the ceiling adorned with glowing carvings resembling stars. "Today has been very tIring. Tomorrow... I'll meet Liora again."
Revan removed his wooden sandals and lay down on the bed. His eyes stared at the ceiling of the tree, which seemed like an endless space. Something new began to fill his heart. Before, he wished he wouldn't wake up, but now, he found himself looking forward to tomorrow.
As he closed his eyes, Liora's image appeared in his mind. Her short, shining green hair, her beautiful face, and that gentle gaze made his heart beat faster.
Thump-thump... thump-thump...
Revan opened his eyes slowly, startled by what he felt. He touched his chest. "Why is my heart beating like this just from thinking about her?" he wondered, confused. He tried to find a logical explanation. "Is this the magic she used on me?"
However, the more he tried to understand it, the harder it became to find an answer. The feeling didn't come from magic or power. It was something foreign, yet real—an emotion he couldn't control.
After a moment, Revan finally fell asleep, though Liora's image continued to linger in his thoughts. The night passed quietly, only the soft sounds of nature accompanying his sleep.
As dawn approached, before the sunlight kissed the earth, Revan awoke. His eyes stared at the ceiling adorned with light. He sat at the edge of the bed, taking a long breath.
"It's time to prepare." He whispered to himself, imagining his meeting with Liora.
Revan opened his eyes, gazing at the ceiling filled with glowing carvings resembling stars. The soft light seemed to call him to start the day. He rose slowly, moving his body, which still felt refreshed despite only having slept for a few hours.
With a calm movement, he descended from the bed and slipped on his wooden sandals that were beside it.He turned his attention to a small circle near the bed. He walked towards it without hesitation, stepping onto it, and as before, the circle emitted a faint light before the floor slowly opened, revealing a spiral staircase leading down.
Revan began to descend the staircase slowly. A calming, pleasant aroma filled the air, coming from candles placed on a long table in the center of the room.
Revan walked to one of the racks on the right side of the room. His eyes scanned the row of books, searching for something specific. "Great Elements," "The Art of Element Manipulation," and the book he hadn't finished reading before became his choices. He picked them up one by one and placed them on the long table.
"This should be enough for now," he murmured, his voice low but full of determination.
He then turned to a small door on the left side of the room, which contained a large wardrobe inside, to change his clothes. Revan opened the door, then the wardrobe within. His eyes and heart began to choose what to wear for the meeting today.
Revan touched the hanfu he was wearing and muttered, "I won't need this today. Since Liora wore a medieval gown yesterday, so..."
He slowly removed his hanfu and checked it. No stains or odors, even after wearing it all day yesterday.
"No need to bathe or clean up. This place really makes everything easier," he said to himself. He neatly hung the hanfu back in its place.
After that, he chose a set of clothes in a medieval style, .White long-sleeved shirt as the undergarment, a black vest, black trousers, and a pair of sturdy yet comfortable black leather shoes. He put them on carefully, making sure everything fit just right. I look so cool, he thought to himself, admiring every detail of the clothes he was now wearing.
Revan exited the wardrobe room, carrying the books he had previously selected, then ascended back to the surface via the spiral staircase. The sound of the wooden sandals he had left behind was now replaced by the soft sound of leather shoes.
Once he reached the surface, he walked toward the teleportation circle in the center of the room, heading to the top of the tree using the same mechanism as before.
In an instant, he reached the top of the tree, where a beautiful view greeted his eyes, with the sun beginning to rise and the morning breeze caressing his body, followed by the cheerful chirping of birds. He placed his books on the wooden floor, then turned his gaze to the fruits hanging low above his head. "These fruits seem perfect to accompany me while reading, not only will they enhance my knowledge, but also my strength."
Revan began to pick the fruits one by one, then placed them near the books on the floor, with different colors until there were 150 fruits in total. Feeling it was enough, he sat on the floor, crossing his legs.
Now, let's begin.
He opened the first book he had read before to continue, his finger tracing the small writings on the pages he had marked. The cool morning air surrounded his body, and the distant chirping of birds became the music that accompanied his focus. Occasionally, he would pick up one of the fruits and eat it calmly, his eyes still fixed on the pages.
Time passed unnoticed. The shadow of the tree began to shift as the sun rose higher. The first book was replaced with the second, and then the third.
When he closed the last book, the sun had nearly reached its zenith. He rubbed his neck, which had become stiff after sitting for too long, staring blankly at the last page as though his mind was processing the stack of information he had just absorbed.
Revan stood slowly, taking a few steps to stretch his body. Only one red fruit remained in his hand. From the three books, only a few key points had truly caught his attention.
"Now I understand," he whispered to himself, then continued, "After finishing the previous book, it explained that to eliminate or cancel magic that has already been created, one must understand the elements or particles that make up that element. For example, water is made of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom bonded by covalent bonds. So, to remove water magic, I must separate those two elements."
Revan paused for a moment in his explanation. He walked slowly to the edge of a large tree, sitting with his hands leaning back, his eyes gazing at the clear sky above.
"However, to fully understand an element, I must understand its cycle, molecular properties, its origin in the universe, and how it influences life. But not all elements can be explained with chemistry or physics. Some special elements require deeper understanding—with philosophy and profound logic," he continued.
He sighed before continuing. "The second book explains these special elements, such as life and death, light and darkness, space and time, and other elements that can only be obtained through luck or destiny. These are called The Great Elements." Revan stopped speaking for a moment to bite the fruit in his hand and finish it.
"Meanwhile, the third book stated that every element can be manipulated or enhanced to the next stage. For example, water can become ice, fire can become lava, and so on," he added, summarizing the main points from the books he had read.
After finishing his thoughts, the strange feeling he had experienced earlier returned. Just like before, his body felt a surge of energy, but this time without the physical pain that had accompanied it. Revan quickly calmed himself, took deep breaths, and adjusted his sitting position to minimize the discomfort.
A few moments passed. The sensation of pain slowly faded, leaving his body in a much stronger state.
"I can feel a significant increase in my magic and physical strength," he murmured. "Not only that, my senses are sharper too. Now, I can cover a radius of up to 200 kilometers."
With his body now accustomed to this change, Revan lay back on the wooden floor, staring at the leaves while taking a deep breath.
"I'm ready now," he said quietly, but with great conviction.
