Level 563. A seemingly infinite pathway stretching forward.
He slowly began walking, nothing much of mind. After thr occasional look around he spotted a few stuff. A phone, some almond water and finally a lighter.
One familiar thing and two that look straight up alien to him. He grabbed the rectangular device cautiously and looked at it.
He booped it a few times. Nothing happened.
He pressed the buttons to the side, nothing happened. He even tried to put a small stick in the charging port.
He shook his head and threw it over his back, before standing up and continuing to walk.
On his way he grabbed another almond water he spot. Without hesitation he drank it, before giving a satisfied sigh, but then came the problem, where did he put this thermostat.
"I don't have anywhere to put this, can't it just vanish?" - he thought to himself as he finished up the content. And suddenly a glitching noise was heard the thermostat disappeared from his hand.
He looked at his hands confused. "How do i do that?"
The long walk gave him enough time to come to a conclusion: he simply has to desire it.
Approximately 5 hours later he saw some skyscrapers in the distance.
Without much thinking, his shoulders rose and he went off-road towards the modern buildings.
Soon enough the scenery began to change as he calmly made his way. In front and behind things changed as he found himself in Level 11.
"Now where do i go?" - he asked himself, laughing at how sad the situation is - he is literally randomly walking. Non the less he continued moving without much of a care in the world.
And so he walked round and round, everything looked similar, but not quite, giving the place a slight feeling of transition to somewhere else.
He found himself torn at a place, where there were two exits. Every time he came near an exit to a level he felt this pull. The two exits in question, was a sewer grate and a billboard of some shop.
He looked at the sewer grade and already disliked the idea of going down there.
So he went towards the billboard and touched it. Nothing happened, then he stood and narrowed his eyes, looking at it weirdly. Then he punched it which didn't work. - "Ow, ok. That's not how we do it.
The kid lost the sensation of an exit there.
A dude passing by just looked at him flabbergasted inside, but neutral on the inside. - "Why didn't he no-clip?
"Kid, do you mind?"
"What?"
The guy ran straight at it in an attempt to no-clip, but it failed. "Oof."
"How strange..."
"What?"
"You should be able to no-clip, but this doesn't work for some reason."
"What is no-clip?"
"Basically the ability to go through objects. It works where the barrier is the thinnest."
"Vat?"
The man sighed and shook his head while pinching the bridge of his nose. - "Being able to phase through.
The kid just looked at him weirdly. He didn't quite understand it. But he was willing to try.
So without much more saying the kid looked at the base, and placed his hand, a second later sensation was restored and he phased through.
The man just looked at him weirdly. - "The hell is up with this kid?" - he asked himself as the kid waved him goodbye and vanished into Level 176.
The kid appeared from one of the shelfs within the supermarket level, he looked around curiously the colorful packaging was just there, asking to be taken. He couldn't resist it, he grabbed a pouch of juice, another appearing in it's place. He gave a sly smile before grabbing a few more, stuffing them in his pockets.
He drank his juice as he walked away. After a day straight of walking around, drinking juices, and attempts of the level to affect him with paranoia and lack of self, he found himself before a door on which is written "Employees only"
"Yeah, i'm definitely employed. Isn't it obvious?" - he said, pulling on his shirt as if there were a nametag on it and looking at a passing by faceling which looked at him blankly with the eyes it didn't had.
They two raised their shoulders at the same time and then departed. He didn't question it. And so he proceeded in the lounge. - "Who needs so many couches?" - He said looking to his left and right. There was an infinite expanding hall with couches nearly everywhere against the wall.
As he walked through the halls, he turned his mind off, reducing the effects the level had on him to zero. With a blank expression he continued walking. As the hours passed by the feeling that something bad is about to happen continued, but he ignored it
Soon he found an opening. In said opening sat a truck with open doors.
"Definitely leads somewhere." - He thought to himself, before no-clipping through the doors of the truck, which were blocking off the outside.
It looked empty, slowly everything came into view and the as the thing he wasn't meant to see yet loaded. He opened the door to the truck and got in the passenger seat. The moment he was in the passenger seat the engine boot up on it's own, the backdoors of the truck closed and it slowly drove off. Off to somewhere.
