The elevator door opened and she came out.
By the time, the door would open, she had already wiped away her tear and was standing straight with a big smile on her face as if she didn't cried just now, as if she wasn't feeling heartbroken just now.
( Years of staying in the business world had taught her how to mask your emotions perfectly.)
In front of the elevator door, a curly blonde was waiting, impatiently tapping his feet.
The moment he saw Lori, he hugged her and stuck to her like the glue, tears rolling down his cheeks.
" I thou, I thought you ..... " he stuttered.
"That I would leave with him." She said while still plastering that smile on her face.
" Yea..., yeah." He said with a nod.
" Why would I, when I have such a cutie pie like you ? She said while patting his head.
( In these three weeks periods, she has found out that this guy secretly likes her but tries to hide it. He's shy,introverted type who is not good with his words but he shows it through his clinginess.)
He blushed upon being praised but still remained pouted.
"Ugh!!I brought you lunch so, maybe we should go to your office." She scanned her surrounding as she said.
There were few patients and their families who were staring daggers at them.
From their perspective, those two looked like a sugar mommy who was consoling her sugar baby.
(After learning about her past , he insisted on keeping her company on the excuse of " a good doctor never leaves his patient unattended."So, they ended up living in the same house and her coming to the hospital to give him lunch has been the routine since then.)
He also pulled himself back as he also felt the gazes towards them and got embarrassed on letting his patients see him in such a messy state so ,they headed towards his office.
After feeding him his lunch, she packed up and stepped out of the office and passed by a room in which a nurse was transferring blood through a blood transfer bag to a patient.
Her eyes widened upon seeing the blood on the package and she swallowed her own saliva.
(Ever since that 'fall', something with in her has changed. Every time she sees blood she can't help but to crave it.
The burning thirst she felt towards blood was unimaginable.
Something with in her head caused splitting headache and kept screaming inside her head that it wants blood. )
It's also one of the reason why she keeps on coming to the hospital to give him lunch.[ She especially kept on coming to the hospital to steal blood as she couldn't buy them outside.]
She secretly entered the blood storage area and stole first two packets she saw, put it in her bag and stormed out as quick as possible.
After reaching somewhere less crowded, she opened those packets and started drinking from it.
After finishing both packets, the voice rang in her head again " not enough, give me more, I want more."
"Shut up!! I don't want to hear you." She touched her aching head and said.
"Got any problem, little lady?" A man's voice was heard.
