Chapter 1 - In The Beginning

My Name is Brandon and The Story I'm about to tell. Started way long ago. I lived in a little shack, Out in the country side. Next to a very big Forrest. The grown-ups always told us kids to never go into the Forrest alone. There was 5 of us kids Me, Christian, Cameron, and EJ and Cody. Out of us 5, I was the only one who wouldn't listen to the Grown-ups. We was able to go with Pa to town once a week. To get stuff we needed for the farm.

In town there was several shops to explore ,and get different items. There was Meat Shops and Tool Shops, and Book Shops and so on. Here was also a school I some times attended. The name was Great Valley. I often wondered why they called it that. Because this place wasn't so great. The kids always picked on the little ones. Pushing and Shoving, and Throwing stuff.

On this day we had to get food for our horses and other farm animals. So Pa told us to stay together and not to get into anything we shouldn't.

As we left Paw at the store . We started looking into windows. To see if we can see anything we liked. That's where I saw it . It was a long stick with a rope tied to it, and a hook tied to it. I ran inside hoping to ask how much it costed.

The Owner was old and she didn't look like any other lady I have ever seen before. She had gray hair with sticks sticking out of it. She also had a necklace wraped around her neck. She wore a black dress and some boots.

I ran up to her and asked about the thing I saw in her shop! I pointed it out to her asking the price. She gave me a glare and asked why did I wanted it for. I told her I was wanting to go fishing one day. Because there was a lake by my house. So she looked back at the item and then back at me and said 20 dollars. I didn't have that much money on me because I was only a kid. So I told her I'll have to come back for it and to not sell it!

Back outside Pa was finished shopping for the food for the animals. And we headed back home.
