Chapter 2 - PROLOGUE 2:BEGINNING OF A SPIRIT

"Well, what's going on, and who are you?" Beromi asked.

With surprise, he moved away carefully, his face blushing. "Oh, sorry, I just got a little excited." He then turned to him with a serious smile. "Let me introduce myself. I am the Soul Deity and former exorcist, Rein Carito, and I chose you to become my successor, Beromi."

"Huh.."beromi said confused.

"Wait, wait, wait... I'm sitting down. Can you explain everything?" Beromi replied.

"Gladly," Rein said.

Rein Carito first explained his origin before he became a deity. Since he was in the living realm, he was known as the strongest among exorcists, warriors and, as a result, he gained a lot of power from just his journey. However, when the wars ended, he disappeared. To fully relax, he needed a successor to claim his power in the right way. Many refused to hold that position, but he found Beromi, and found out he was the perfect vessel.

All in all, since beromi died, he would be forced into another dimension or world by a god or goddess of that world.

"I see, so what kind of world would I be in then?" Beromi asked.

"Well, I don't have any information on that, but I am guessing it's a world of magic," Rein replied.

"A fantasy world, huh..." Beromi said.

Rein clapped his hands together and turned to Beromi with a smile. "Now let's get you into the basics of my power I'm going to give you."

"Training? Do we really have the time for that?" Beromi questioned.

"Well, here in my domain, time and space do not work the same way as in other dimensions. In short, you are now moving around in nothingness, where neither death nor life exists, and any concept" Rein explained.

"That's amazing... Wait, what are you doing?" Beromi asked as Rein placed his hand on Beromi's head. There was power he was supposed to feel, but he did not feel anything—no difference.

"What did you do"beromi asked.

"And if you don't understand, try to close your eyes and focus, and tell me what you see," Rein said.

Beromi closes his eyes and focuses. He sees something—a screen of sorts formed from blue flame. On it was written, "Spirit Reform. What is that?"

"I gave you one skill, Spirit Reform. That ability lets you form anything. For example, you can make yourself stronger by creating Spirit Amplification or create blue flames," Rein explained.

"Wait, does that mean I have to be more creative? Well, it will be hard to learn all the abilities he created, and it would be easy for me to remember the abilities I have created i guess that would be for the best... wait," Beromi thought.

He then throws three talismans at him, which float around him and begin to speak.

"Well, so this is your successor. That's kind of nice."

"Nice to meet you, my new master."

"This is getting interesting."

"R-r-rein, the papers are speaking and floating," Beromi said, confused.

"Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you. Those papers contain my former army generals: a kitsune named Yeriku, a shogun samurai named Mirumi, and my exorcist's spirit named Keren. Let's just say they are a gift to you," Rein said.

"Thank you,i guess" Beromi replied. He took them, and they vanished into him to keep them safe.

Suddenly, everything began to distort. Glowing white female arms emerged and grabbed Beromi, dragging him down. "What? What is going on... hmmm?"

"Stay calm; it's just that you are getting sent. And Beromi, be careful; that world might be dangerous," Rein warned.

"Stay strong, untill we meet again"rein exclaimed.

At the last moment, Beromi was falling through the air, and when he opened his eyes, he screamed, "AAAAAHHH! WHAT IS THIS!!!"

Around him was a thick expanse of snow and ice, and after a little while, he fell with a loud bang onto the ice, which submerged him.

Beromi slowly got up, rubbing his head and dusting the snow off him. "So this is my new beginning. Damn, was it so hard to put me where there are people? Give me a break!"

After scouting the area, he realized that Rein had given him a new outfit, a little something so he could blend in (he wore a black medieval style coat with some yellow linings).

"Huh, guess I can't complain... now where should I start?" Beromi said, already walking.
