Chapter 13 - Three months time skip

"Am screwed"

Why you ask, it's because of the ethereal book floating in front of Dawn.

'It's over, am done for'. Dawn sighed. Why all this lamentations you ask it's exactly because Dawn has been contacted by the mystical soul dairy. To understand we have to go back to the beginning.

Every night, after returning from the library, Dawn would sit in his small, cluttered room and focus his mind. He had been experimenting with his evolving ability for weeks now, and he had made it a habit to evolve his eyes every night to enable him keep up with his reading schedule in the library, he has neglected all other aspect of school including classes only going to Wilderness Survival as he was sure he would need it in the dreadful trials.

He would sit in front of the mirror, his eyes fixed intently on his reflection. He would focus his mind, feeling the familiar surge of energy as his body began to change. His eyes would shift and change, the irises expanding and contracting in a rhythmic pattern.

At first, the changes were subtle. His eyes would become slightly more sensitive, able to pick up on faint details that he had previously missed. But as the nights went on, the changes became more pronounced. His eyes evolved to the point where he could see in dim light although still far from being able to see at night. Another change was that his irises has changed from the previous blue to red.

Dawn was fascinated by the changes in his eyes. He would spend minutes staring at his reflection, marveling at the intricate patterns of light and shadow that danced across his face during the evolution of his eyes. He felt like he was unlocking new levels of consciousness and awareness.

But as his eyes continued to evolve, Dawn began to realize that his brain was struggling to keep up. He would feel overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information that his eyes were sending him, and he would struggle to focus.

So, in addition to evolving his eyes, Dawn began to evolve his brain as well. He would focus his mind, feeling the familiar surge of energy as his brain began to change. The neurons and synapses would rewire themselves, allowing him to process the vast amounts of information that his eyes were sending him.

As the nights went on, Dawn's brain and eyes continued to evolve. He could see and process information with greater clarity and precision than ever before. He felt like he was unlocking new levels of consciousness and awareness.

And so, every night, Dawn would sit in his small, cluttered room and focus his mind. He would evolve his eyes and brain so that he will realise his dream as a writer.

But then everything changed.

Dawn decided to go to class, despite not being contacted by the Soul Dairy. He wanted to wish his classmates good luck, and see them off before they embarked on their journey. He had evolved his brain earlier that night, and felt a sense of clarity and focus that he had never experienced before.

As he walked to class, the night air felt crisp and cool. The sky was a deep shade of indigo, and the stars twinkled like diamonds scattered across the fabric of the universe. Dawn felt a sense of excitement and anticipation, despite not being part of the group that had been contacted by the Soul Dairy.

Thinking of the bright sky Dawn looked up to see that they was something big and shattered in the sky. "So that's the moon." Dawn wondered in amazement looking at the seven moon. Them moon was shattered from the center one part completely shattered into six uneven rock which still fulfilled its purpose of reflecting the sun even after being broken, the other part of the moon was in a crescent shape as it was sliced by a crescent clash and not shattered as the rest. It was written in the library that something was sealed there but what it was, was not mentioned, looking at the moo peeking behind the curtains of the cloud Dawn shoked his head as he continued on his journey to his class.

When he arrived at the classroom, he was struck by the gloomy atmosphere. The room was dimly lit, and the shadows seemed to stretch and twist across the walls like living things. Dawn's classmates were all seated, their faces tense and anxious. They nodded to him as he entered, but their eyes were distant, their minds preoccupied with the challenges that lay ahead.

Although he was called a bookworm but under the instruction of Mr. Orion the class were thought the importance of comrades so he has interacted with all of them at least twice.

Dawn took a seat, waiting for the teacher to arrive. He glanced around the room, taking in the somber mood. It was as if the very air was heavy with anticipation, weighing down on them like a physical force.

There was someone who he always saw in the library and there later became close friends, she was a scholar just like him and they were even in the same class it was only a matter of time before there became friends. Looking at Aria he didn't head over to her seat, because he didn't know how to comfort someone and he didn't want to appear insensitive.

As he sat there, he noticed that the room seemed to be growing even darker, the shadows deepening and twisting into strange, eerie shapes. Dawn felt a shiver run down his spine, despite the warmth of the room.

And then, suddenly, an ethereal presence filled the room. It was as if the air itself had come alive, vibrating with an otherworldly energy. Dawn felt his heart racing, his senses on high alert.

As he looked around, he saw that his classmates were all acting normal. 'Am i the only one feeling this'. Dawn wondered as he looked around the class.

Before him, a book had materialized out of thin air. It was an ancient, leather-bound tome, adorned with strange symbols and markings that seemed to shimmer and glow in the dim light.

As Dawn stared at the book, he felt a sudden jolt of realization. This was the Soul Dairy, the mysterious entity that had been contacting his classmates and everyelse sending them to it's trials.

Dawn's mind reeled as he stared at the book. He had been contacted, just minutes before the red moon was set to rise. He felt a surge of trepidation, knowing that his life was about to be....

" Am screwed".

That's what he thought as he walked behind the class.

Casting his gaze back to his soul diary he shoke his head in anger and pain, his soul dairy read.

"It's over am done for". Dawn thought I disappointment at himself, 'I don't even know what my quirk is'.

Thinking back to when he always skipped language class his shoke his head bitterly. 'Nobody told me I was going to first learn the old language before being able to read my soul dairy. After he got contacted he tried to read his soul dairy and realizing he couldn't read it he asked around only to find out that it was covered in language class and not only that, it was a compulsory class, Dawn almost hit his head in anger for his foolish behaviour at skipping classes but who could he blame but himself, and to make it worse he couldn't even study it now as they were on their way to the crystal Spire at the back of their school. It was few minutes to the red moon and he was the only one unprepared
