Sometimes I am amazed at how he switches for one thing to another. Looking at him I wondered how he would react if I suddenly punched him in the face, 'that's a nice thought' I exclaimed in my mind feeling happy.
"My Quirk" I began "my Quirk, i don't know what it is".
"It's natural you haven't been contracted by the Soul Diary".
"All I know is that I have an ethereal feeling as if, as if it's-
"Coming from your soul"
Dawn looked at him for a few seconds before muttering "you could say that".
"But is that possible".
"Of course it's possible".
"The Soul" Dawn fell into deep thought.
"We are here" raising up his head only then did he noticed that the car has already stopped and they were in fact in front of an ocean.
The car drove up to the edge of a massive sea. Dawn's eyes widened as he took in the sight. The sea stretched out as far as the eye could see, its surface glinting in the sunlight.
Ryker smiled, seeming to enjoy Dawn's amazement. "Welcome to the Elyrian Academy," he said, gesturing to the sea.
Dawn's gaze followed Ryker's gesture, and he saw it - a massive, futuristic island rising up out of the center of the sea. The island was covered in towering spires and glittering crystal formations, and it seemed to pulse with a vibrant, otherworldly energy.
"How..." Dawn began, but Ryker just chuckled.
"The Academy's founders were...visionary, to say the least," Ryker said. "They wanted to create a place where students could learn and grow in safety, away from the distractions and dangers of the outside world."
As Ryker spoke, a sleek, silver boat emerged from a hidden dock beneath the car. Ryker gestured for Dawn to get in, and Dawn obeyed, feeling a thrill of excitement mixed with a little fear.
After entering boat, Ryker gestured for Dawn to take the paddles to paddle them towards the ocean. Watching Ryker for a while he sighed and began rolling the boat leaving the car and the shore behind. As they approached the island,
Suddenly a boat rushed passed them, Dawn didn't think too much of it as first but then he noticed that the boat (yacht) was driving in the same direction as them and in fact even stopped in the beach of the school turning his head towards Ryker he cursed at him.
"motherfucker the hell wrong with you."
"What".
"The hell, the boat that just passed was filled with people going the same direction as us".
"So".
"We could have followed them, why the hell did you allow me row the boat instead of going with them".
"Oo that, I just felt like taking a slow ride".
Before he could retort, suddenly Dawn could feel the energy emanating from the crystal structure of the school growing stronger, calling to him. His anger subsided turing into something akin to fear.
He looked up at Ryker, who was watching him with a knowing glint in his eye.
"What's going to happen to me here?" Dawn asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Ryker's smile grew wider. "That's for you to decide."
The boat docked at the island's edge, and Ryker led Dawn out onto the gleaming white sand of the academy beach. Dawn looked around, awestruck, as Ryker gestured for him to follow.
"Welcome to your new home, Dawn," Ryker said, smiling. "I think you're going to like it here."
Dawn looked up at the academy awestruck unable to answer Ryker statement. Then suddenly Dawn saw himself in a vision giving his all against an army, shadow like creatures as he battled not allowing the school and people behind him to come in contact in any danger.
Jotting up Dawn step back in fear mumbling "what was that"
Ryker spoke his voice emotionless "the academy gives visions to anyone around his vicinity, its give them a goal if they lack a vision.
"By putting them in an illusion" Dawn glared at Ryker anger boiling within him. But he still didn't answer, he stood there looking at him.
"Am not going in". Dawn declared.
"What"
"I said am not going in"
"You don't have a choice"
"Who's going to stop me" Dawn asked turning around.
Then suddenly he felt danger all the hairs on his body standing up, he swiftly moved to the side only to see Ryker standing on his previous position.
"Am not scared of you". Dawn taunted readying himself in a stance he learnt from watching TV.
