A week has passed since the assassination attempt on King and queen, but now was not the time to be sad or angry. Now is the time to celebrate the wedding of king and queen. The city of Pentos was alive with excitement as the sun rose on the long-awaited wedding day of King Alex and Queen Daenerys. Banners bearing the sigil of the dragon and the sword fluttered in the breeze, and the streets were lined with citizens dressed in their finest attire.
In the royal palace, preparations began early. Servants bustled about, decorating the great hall with golden drapes, crimson flowers, and elegant chandeliers. The air was filled with the scent of fresh roses and lavender, a fitting tribute to the union of two rulers who had changed the lives of so many.
Daenerys sat in her chambers, surrounded by handmaidens who carefully braided her silver hair into intricate designs. Missandei by her side giving her all the support a bride needs, Daenerys wore a stunning gown of white and gold, embroidered with dragon motifs. The dress shimmered with every movement, a symbol of her power and grace.
Ser Barristan and Raven entered to offer their blessings. "You look radiant, Your Grace," Barristan said, bowing deeply.
Daenerys smiled warmly. "Thank you, Ser Barristan."
Meanwhile, Alex prepared in his chambers, assisted by Leon and Mark. He called his general back to pentos just for his wedding. Because he doesn't want any stupid accidents happening on his wedding day. Dressed in a regal black and red tunic adorned with the sigil of the Imperium, he looked every inch the warrior king.
"You're nervous, My King." Leon teased, adjusting Alex's cloak.
Alex chuckled. "Of course." Alex who was never married in his past life never knew it could be this nerve wrecking. Alex who had conquered 8 cites and under his rule and started his own Kingdom was now nervous of a wedding. What a joke.
Mark placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Today is a day of joy. Let's focus on that."
The grand courtyard of the palace was transformed into a majestic venue for the wedding. Rows of seats were filled with generals, and influential figures from across the Imperium. Citizens gathered in the streets, eager to witness the procession through the city afterward.
Daenerys walked down the aisle, escorted by 2 small Dragons by her side. The small dragons moved with grace, their eyes watching over her like a protective guardian. Gasps of awe rippled through the crowd as Ancalagon roared in the sky as he also wanted to be part of it, announcing the queen's arrival.
Alex stood at the altar, his gaze fixed on Daenerys. When she reached him, he took her hands, and they exchanged a smile filled with warmth and love.
The High Priest of the Imperium stepped forward, his voice echoing through the courtyard. "Today, we witness the union of King Alex and Queen Daenerys, rulers of the Imperium, whose love and leadership have brought peace and prosperity to our lands."
The vows were spoken, each word a promise not only to each other but to the people they ruled.
"With this union," Alex said, "we solidify our commitment to each other."
The High Priest raised his hands. "By the power vested in me, I declare you husband and wife, king and queen, united in love and purpose."
Cheers erupted as Alex and Daenerys kissed, sealing their vows. Ancalagon roared again, his shadow casting over the city as he took to the skies in celebration. And crowd yelled and shouted in the excitement as they made their way towards the drinking area, to get wasted on this special occasion to celebrate the wedding of their king and queen.
The celebration continued with a grand feast in the palace hall. Tables were laden with roasted meats, fresh fruits, and fine wines. Musicians played lively tunes, and dancers performed for the guests.
Alex and Daenerys sat at the head of the table, their smiles never fading as they greeted well-wishers.
"This is a day to remember," Daenerys said softly to Alex.
In the last week leading up to the wedding, the palace guards had discovered spies from Braavos lurking in the city. Despite rigorous interrogation and even torture, the spies revealed nothing about their mission or who had sent them. Some even killed themselves with the poisen embedded in their back teeth.
The girl who had delivered the poisoned figurine remained unaccounted for, leaving an unsettling shadow over the otherwise joyous occasion. Alex had increased security, ensuring that no threat could disrupt their wedding day.
As the festivities came to an end, Alex and Daenerys retired to their chambers. The room was illuminated by the soft glow of candles, and the air was filled with the fragrance of jasmine.
Daenerys stood by the window, looking out at the city bathed in moonlight. "Do you think the people are truly happy?" she asked.
Alex approached her, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I know they are. We've given them hope, something they didn't have before."
She turned to face him, her eyes shining. "And what about us, Alex?"
He cupped her face gently. "We have more than hope. We have each other."
Their lips met in a passionate kiss, and the night became theirs alone a moment of peace and intimacy amid their responsibilities.
As the city of Pentos slept, the royal couple began their new life together, their bond stronger than ever. A act filled with intimacy and lust was happening in the chambers of King. Unknown to them, this act will bring many unknown surprises to them.
The Day after the Wedding
The morning after the grand wedding, Pentos slowly returned to its usual rhythm. The city buzzed with life, its citizens still elated from the festivities. However, within the palace walls, it was business as usual for King Alex and Queen Daenerys.
The royal generals, who had gathered for the wedding, prepared to return to their posts in the various cities of the Imperium. Leon departed for Meereen, Mark for Astapor, and other commanders headed to their respective garrisons. Each carried instructions to continue fortifying defenses, ensuring stability, and maintaining the prosperity of The EMPERIUM.
2 days later that day, Alex sat in his study, reviewing reports from the cities under his control. Manuul, his ever-reliable assistant, entered the room with a purposeful stride.
"Your Majesty," Manuul began, bowing slightly, "I believe it is time to discuss the gun factory."
Alex raised an eyebrow. "The gun factory? I nearly forgot about that. Is it operational?"
"Yes, my king," Manuul confirmed. "It was completed two months ago, as per your instructions. We were awaiting your orders to begin production."
Alex leaned back in his chair, considering the implications. "Excellent. Summon some experienced blacksmiths. We'll need them for the production."
Within hours, a group of skilled craftsmen stood before Alex. He outlined the task ahead, describing the weapons he wanted basic muskets, pistols, and eventually more advanced firearms.
After that Alex summoned a squad of gun makers from 18s for the overseeing the production. They will be training the blacksmiths on how to produce these weapons.
"The raw materials you need will be provided by Manuul," Alex said. "I want efficiency, precision, and quality."
The gunsmiths bowed deeply. "We will not disappoint, Your Majesty."
"And Manuul talk to Raven, I want the factory to be gaurdes 24/7. I don't want any weapons missing from factory. You understand".
Hearing the cold and sharp tone in King's order. Manuul bowed, "I'll make sure that is done my King, I'll talk to General Raven and get squads assigned and set up a perimeter outside of factory, so only the worker can go in and no one beside won't be able to pass through". He knew many people from other free cities wanted to steal their secrets so he made sure to follow the Kings command.
Later that evening, Alex summoned Ser Barristan Selmy to the throne room. The seasoned knight entered, bowing low before his king and queen.
"Ser Barristan," Alex began, "I have an important mission for you."
Barristan straightened, his expression attentive. "Anything, my king."
"I want you to travel to Westeros," Alex said, his tone firm. "Specifically, to the North. The Starks are facing a grave threat, and I want to offer them aid. In return, I hope to bring them under our rule."
Barristan nodded slowly. "A bold move, Your Majesty. But how do you propose we offer this aid?"
"You will take five squads with you each comprised of our best soldiers," Alex explained. "Their skill and discipline will demonstrate the might of the Imperium. I also want you to intervene in any major events that could destabilize the North. For example, I have intelligence that something is planned by the Lannisters and freys in upcoming months. You must ensure it does not happen."
Alex nodded. "Precisely. Your presence will be a reminder to show them the power of Imperium. Secure an alliance with the Starks, and ensure their loyalty to us."
The reason why Alex would have North under his control instead of doing another massacre was because he wanted to keep them under his rule and let them rule the North under The Imperium. And Rob stark showed signs of being a competent leader. And it's better to have a good leader for the future. So Alex finally decided it was time to change some things in the timeline from the show.
The next morning, Ser Barristan prepared to leave. The five squads chosen for the mission were comprised of elite soldiers from the Unsullied, equipped with state-of-the-art weaponry.
Daenerys personally bid Barristan farewell. "You carry the banner of the Imperium," she said. "Do not let us down."
"I will not fail you, Your Grace," Barristan replied, bowing deeply.
Ancalagon roared from the skies as the party departed from Pentos.
As the days passed, the factory began producing firearms but they were far from being used. They will still needs to go through trail and error line. Alex received reports from his generals about the continued stability of the Imperium's cities.
The North was just the beginning. Westeros would soon learn the true strength of the Imperium, and those who sought to oppose it would face the wrath of the IMPERIUM.
