Arzatious immediately stood up, and said, "Hey, Azure~"
Azure replied while using a napkin to clean his mouth, "What?"
Arzatious gave a silly grin, "Are you done? With your food?"
Azure looked at both of their plates and said, "Didn't the food just arrive a few mi-"
Arzatious cut his talk and continued, "Guess~ we have to leave it~~"
And flicked his fingers casting a spell that forced Azure to get up.
Azratious went to the cashier, "The food was great~~ but we have some work to do so we will be taking our leave~, here~~ keep the change." and handed the cashier a bag full of gold coins.
He leaned towards Azure's shoulder, flicked his fingers to cast an invisible sound barrier.
"Azure~, i have a deal for you~~, if you go and ask the lady who has red eyes, black hair and is wearing a black coat, 'her full name' then i will help you with whatever you want~ for the whole day~" Arzatious said with a low-voice while still keeping his charm and joy.
Azure said while catching his own head. "You could just say it through thinking too.."
"Uh~ i just wanted to use this spell~~" Arzatious said with a cheerful voice.
"About the deal.. I don't have any other option, do I ?" He sighed.
Arzatious grinned in reply as if implying 'Yes, you do not~'
Azure went out of the restaurant and saw the lady walking towards a store that sold -Amplifiers-,
'Hey! Arzatious, how about we go to the shop that sells amplifiers and buy one, while asking her name in the process?' Azure thought.
'Sure~ great thinking by a great person~'
Both of them entered the shop a few seconds after the lady.
In the shop there were 2 sections, 'Ael Amplifiers' and 'Ryu Amplifiers'.
The lady seemed to be in the 'Ryu Amplifiers' section.
Luckily Azure was a Ryu user, so he entered the section too along with Arzatious,
"Look~ this one shall be a great choice~ it matches with your white hair too~" Arzatious said while picking one amplifier.
All amplifiers usually have different appearances, although their work is the same for most of them and that is 'Amplify'. The one Arzatious had recommended looked like an earring made of silver.
Azure looked at the Amplifier, "Except for the matching part, what else makes you say that?" he said with a sigh.
"Isn't~ looking good while also having an amplifier, a win-win ?" Arzatious said with a smile.
"Ofcourse~ why was i even expecting something great from you" Azure said in disappointment.
All of the conversations between Azure and Arzatious that took place in the shop were being heard by the lady with black hair and red eyes, although one could not say if she was even hearing it or ignoring it.
Arzatious went towards the cashier and asked, "Sir~ what would be the cost of this earring filled with charm?"
The man at the cashier although surprised by Arzatious looks and the fact that he called it an earring instead of an amplifier, said, "It would be ninet-"
"Actually~ no need to say the cost~, here keep the change~" Arzatious flicked his fingers and a bag full of gold coins appeared in his hand, he continued while handing over the bag, "Thanks for your services~~"
While Arzatious was busy with the cashier, Azure had went to have a talk with the lady,
He approached the lady, "Hello~ I'm Azure, I wanted to ask about which amplifier would be the best to buy." although his voice filled with nervousness, he continued. "I'm very sorry, if i disturbed you… its just that i never really bought one so i thought if you could give me some advice."
The lady replied, "No, it's fine." she continued, "I'm Iris Evelyn."
Azure once again replied with a nervous voice, "Nice to meet you.."
Iris replied with a cold look, "It's ok, you don't have to be wary of me, i don't care if you are a commoner, i will still help you out."
As Azure heard those words, a weight lifted from his heart,
"Thank you, I really appreciate it !"
Iris looked at him and continued, "I haven't seen you here before, are you new here?"
"Yes, in fact i arrived just a few minutes ago"
"I'm assuming you came from a foreign kingdom?"
"I guess, you could say that"
Iris looked at him with curiosity.
"About the amplifier, didn't your companion just buy one for you?" Iris said with a curious voice while still keeping her cold look.
"To be honest, he didn't buy it because it was an amplifier, he bought it more because of it being an earring" Azure said with a somewhat funny-look.
Iris replied with a somewhat confused-look, "It doesn't really matter which amplifier you buy, all of these are the same, so the only reason to select it yourself would be for the looks of it."
Azure replied sadly, "I'm really sorry, i didn't know about it"
Iris replied with a sigh, "No need to be sorry about i-"
Arzatious appeared behind them and interrupted, "Hello~ Dea-"
Iris immediately took out a dagger from her coat and stabbed Arzatious's right-hand. She moved backwards, keeping distance between her and Arzatious...
