In a restaurant named "Cloud Paradise."
A hand was waiving in the air, trying to get the attention of the waiter.
"Excuse me, waiter. We want to order." the beggar said with a bright smile as he waived his hand in a large swing.
This cloud paradise restaurant was a famous restaurant in the cloud world, which was also a very expensive restaurant.
It was located at the busiest street in the town.
This was also Charles's first time to this well known restaurant, because there wasn't any of this restaurant at the ground layer of Arcanum city.
Usually, cloud paradise wouldn't accept someone who dressed like a beggar. However, they accepted the beggars when Charles showed that he got money to pay.
Although Charles was ready to pay for the beggar, he was also aware that the beggar could be a liar. But he had confidence that he would be able to catch him if the beggar wanted to run. After all, he was a Cloud Magus.
"Yes, anything I can help?" the waiter asked politely.
"I want a cheese burger, french fries, arcanum pizza, steak, lobster and a red wine." the beggar ordered.
Then, the waiter took note before going back to place the order.
"You can finish so many things?" Charles gasped before asking. To him, it was simply too much of food for two of them.
"Can, I can always finish nice food." the begger said.
"Haizz. Alright." Charles sighed.
Charles felt shock when he heard the beggar ordered so many food. Before this, he expected the beggar would order expensive food, but he didn't expect the beggar to order so much expensive food.
Luckily he brought a lot of money with him. He even had some rank 4 gem with him. So, he knew that he had enough money to pay the bill. This was probably the most expensive lunch that Charles ever had.
Soon, the food was served.
Looking at the table full of delicious food, Charles swallowed. Then, Charles and the beggar started to have their lunch.
Originally Charles didn't feel good about this cloud paradise restaurant, because he was paying around 2000 dollars for lunch. With that, he felt a bit angry at the price.
But now, he changed his mind.
By right, restaurants would serve people with ordinary food and veggies. So, Charles was expecting some ordinary food that was overpriced.
Yet, when he took a bite of the lobster, he felt something different. The lobster wasn't an ordinary lobster, it was a cloud monster which could provide little cloud energy when people eat it.
As a cloud holder, Charles knew that the food made of cloud monsters was useful to them. So, he was enjoying the food.
"Nice, right?" the beggar looked at Charles who was eating the lobster, and then asked with a smile.
"Ya. Delicious. You should try this." Charles said as he put a lobster on the beggar's plate.
Soon, they finished all the food. Charles had paid the bill. There was a flush of redness on their face due to the effect of red wine.
"Hey, now we are finished with food. Can you tell me where my friend is?" Charles asked.
"Sure, give me a moment." the beggar said with a hint of playfulness on his face.
The beggar started to look to the left and right, checking if anyone was looking at them.
Charles startled for a moment. He didn't know what this beggar wanted to do.
Then, Charles saw that the beggar took down his beanie.
The next second, Charles saw that the beanie turned into a hair pin. At the same time, the beggar's short hair became long hair. His face turned into Elaine's face.
Charles was stunned for a long time. He didn't know how to react. All the while, he was treating the person as a beggar. He didn;t expect that the person was Elaine.
Elaine was gazing at Charles with a bright smile. She found it fun to look at Charles's reaction.
"So... wow... So, you are Elaine." Charles stuttered.
"Ya, Charles. Thanks for the lunch." Elaine giggled.
"Wait, what is that? the hair pin." Charles asked.
"This? This is a cloud item that my father gave me. I can use it to change my appearance." Elaine pointed at her hair pin and said.
"Are you really Elaine? or you are someone else." Charles said as pinched Elaine's face, checking if there was any mask or make up.
"Hey." Elaine tapped Charles's hand that was pinching her face.
"Sorry." Charles said.
"It is me. We fought the arrogant Principal yesterday." Elaine explained.
"Ok." Charles nodded. Now, he fully believed that this was Elaine. After all, strangers wouldn't know that they fought the principal.
"Why you looking for me?" Elaine asked, with her elbows resting on the table and her head crable in her hands.
"Oh, I am here to bring you back." Charles said.
"I don't want to." Elaine rejected. She was still a bit mad with the principal. As the daughter of the Ethereal Ascendant of Tide, she had her own pride and ego.
"I understand. Your father is the Ethereal Ascendant of Tide. You must be very proud of your father. You can use your cloud control to prove the principal wrong." Charles said gently.
Then, Charles continued.
"Actually, you know who Mr Kael is?" Charles asked.
"Why? Is he very famous?" Elaine said.
"He is the best teacher in the Imperial Academy. Yesterday Jack told us that. Jack had seen his face in the newspaper. Just not sure why Mr Kael is here, opening his own academy." Charles explained.
Imperial Academy was the top cloud academy in the world. As the best teacher at Imperial Academy, Mr Kael was a well known person in the world.
"Wait, the top teacher in the Imperial Academy? the one who invented the team formation named Southern Cross Star ? "
"Ya. We were quickly shocked." Charles nodded.
Elaine pouted. Actually she knew that Mr Kael was right, there was room for improvement for her cloud control.
Elaine still felt a bit angry, but she knew Charles and Mr Kael were right.
"I don't care. You treat me one more cheeseburger. Then, I go back." Elaine said, pouted.
"Okok." Charles chuckled.
"Hey waiter, one more cheese burger."
