The next day. Eldrich Academy. 8 am.
Once again, all of them gathered at the field for their morning training, including Charles and Elaine.
Based on their syllabus and class schedule, they would have their stamina training in the morning. In the afternoon, they would have the cloud knowledge class and cloud control practise.
Alvin raised his head, looking at the sky, panting. His robe was wet because of the heavy sweating.
They just finished 10 rounds of running around the academy. This wasn't an easy task. It took them 1 hour to complete the running.
Normally it was easy for a cloud holder to run 10 rounds around the academy, considering their strong body as a cloud holder.
However, Mr Kael added a lot of weight to them. All of them were carrying at least 10 kg with them. As a level 39 cloud holder, Jack was carrying more weight, which was 15 kg.
They all stood in a row, facing Mr Kael.
Elaine was still a little bit not happy, but she decided to stay. She wasn't stupid, she knew that Mr Kael was right. After all, Mr Kael was the best teacher in the Imperial Academy. Elaine could learn a lot from him.
"Hmm. I learn everything from you. Then, I ask my father to bully you. her" Elaine mumbled to herself.
"I have set a target for all of you. The first thing for you to achieve is to help Jack get his fourth cloud spell." Mr Kael said.
Hearing that, Jack raised his head and looked at Mr Kael.
"I can do it by myself" Jack said. Although Jack knew that it was dangerous in the spire, he preferred to do it alone.
"It is a team. " Mr Kael said as he pointed to the academy motto signboard.
"Ya, Jack. We can help you. Is totally fine. You can help us in the future," Alvin said. Although Jack looked fierce on his appearance, Alvin sensed that Jack was a little shy on this.
Mr Kael continued to say. "This weekend, all of you will go to the flora spire to help Jack in getting his fourth cloud spell." Mr Kael gave a clear instruction of going to the flora spire.
Hearing that, Alvin paused for a moment. Then, he remembered Mr Tree talked about this flora spire. It was a spire that was full of cloud plants. For example, different flowers, grass, herd and tree.
"Understand?" Mr Kael
"Yes." they replied. While Alvin was musing about the flora spire, the other was smiling. They were happy that they could go out and have a trip to flora spire.
"I can use this chance to collect the raw material to upgrade my Phoenix Rebirth."
After thinking for a while, Alvin was happy with the trip to the flora spire for three reasons.
First, he could visit the city around the flora spire. Second, he could help Jack to get his fourth cloud spell. Third, which was also the most important one, he could try to get the material to upgrade his Phoenix Rebirth.
Alvin had decided to get the water element as his next element. This was suggested by Mr Elias. The water element was known for its healing ability and controlling spell, which were important for Alvin at this stage.
Alvin already had some attack spells. If he could get some controlling spells, he would have a better advantage in the fight.
To upgrade his Phoenix Rebirth, Alvin needed three material, snowveil, mistpetal and a rank 5 water gems.
Alvin had bought the snowveil at a shop before he came to Eldrich Academy. So, he still needed to find a mistpetal, which was also the hardest to find.
Last time, Alvin tried to ask Daylight Order whether they have the mistpetal, but he was told that the mistpetal was rare. Even the Daylight Order didn't have it.
Of course, the upgrade wasn't easy, this upgrade required a very painful process.
Mr Elias said that cloud level 27 was probably the minimum cloud level that ones could bear the pain. That was also the reason Alvin didn't do it earlier.

Alvin exhaled a breath and opened his eyes. He saw the hostel was normal as usual. The door was closed. The environment was dark.
Alvin just stopped his cloud cultivation. Then, he smiled as he glanced at his roommate. Beside him, Charles and Jack were still in their cloud cultivation mode.
Before knowing Alvin and Charles, Jack didn't do his cloud cultivation at night. Usually he would just sleep. Now, Jack was influenced by them. Everyday, three of them would do the cloud cultivation at night, together.
Getting up from the bed quietly, Alvin walked to his wardrobe where he picked up his clothes.
Today was the day they would go to the flora spire. Alvin was preparing for the trip.
With a silver light flashed on his space ring, Alvin stored some clothes, water, and food into his space ring.
Time passed rapidly. Alvin used some time to pack his things.
Then, he looked at the time. It was 6:30 am. As they needed to leave the academy at 8 am, all of them needed to wake up now.
"Guys, wake up. wake up." Alvin said as he was glancing at Charles and Jack.
