A normal wind blade would be sharp. However, this wind blade was blunt instead, because Alvin didn't want to kill Emily. The wind blade was so fast that it reached Emily in 1 second.
At the same time, Charles quickly nocked an arrow on the string. "First cloud spell, rank 1 Thunder boom." Instantly, a thunder boom that was glowing in purple color was formed on the head of the arrow.

The arrow shot towards James. This was their strategy. They chose to use a wind blade to attack Emily because Emily was their first target. The wind blade was much easier to control compared to the arrow.

Next seconds, James's sword was enveloped by fire, turning it into a fire sword. Initially, the sword length was as long as Alvin's arm. Now the sword became longer because of the fire.
At the same time, Emily cast her support spell on James. "First cloud spell, rank 0 wind shoe" Emily exclaimed. Two green light shot out from her cloud. One light toward herself. Another one to James.
Alvin squinted his eyes when he saw James was darting toward him. James's fire sword gave him a longer attack range and Emily's wind shoe gave James a faster speed.
All these were happened at the same time, in just few seconds.

Just after Emily casting her spell, Alvin's wind blade hit her and pushed her out of the ring.
*boomm. Another explosion happened. Charles's arrow hit James's sword and his Thunder boom was activated.
Although James was able blocked the thunder boom with his fire sword, he was stopped by its strong explosive force. He took a few steps back to stable himself.
Just as James stabalized himself, he saw a wind blade was 0.1 meter in front of him. Next second, he was hit by the wind blade and was pushed out from the ring. That was Alvin's second wind blade. After casting his first wind blade, Alvin didn't stop at all, he cast another wind blade right away.
Alvin grinned as he saw that. Although he planned a lot of back up plan with Charles, it seemed like they don't need to use that. They won the duel.
"Winners, Alvin and Charles." Seeing James was pushed out from the ring, Mr Christopher announced the result.
"Mage and general knowledge class get three days usage of cultivation room from the Knight and support class." Mr Christopher said.
The mage class students were happy.
"Yes, we won."
"Hahahaha, three more days of the cultivation room"
At first, the mage class student thought it would be a tough fight. They had worried about Alvin and Charles.

Seeing Mr John left, Elias said to him "Thanks."
Mr Elias grinned as he looked at the green colour, big gems. This gems possed the potential for Alvin to upgrade his Phoenix Rebirth Cultivation technique and add element to his cloud.
