Synopsis
(AUTHOR'S NOTE: This book is a revision of a previously started book I began writing entitled “Cursed Are The Blessed”; which is no longer being written.) Just after the Demon Lord's forces decimated the Shadow Hunter Pack, the last known Acrilian werewolf pack, the Luna's daughter was secretly whisked away to the Rainier Pack, along with the grandniece of the current Matriarch of the Clan of the Old Order. Unfortunately, for all those who took it upon themselves to get involved, they soon become targeted by the Demon Lord, because one of the main objectives of the demons' assault on the Shadow Hunter Pack was to exterminate the Luna's daughter...who is destined to become the demons' greatest threat.

Chapter 1 - A Bloody Massacre

It has been almost four years since Alpha Julian Thurgood, against his better judgement, had allowed his sister, Teresa, to adopt those damn three; despite of the harboring unspoken and overtly voiced dissension among most of the Rainier Pack. Not only was the idea of taking a rogue she-wolf and two female dampyrs into their pack ludicrous enough in and of itself, but surely all hell ... both figuratively and literally ... would break loose should the true identity of those two infants ever be found out.

Unfortunately, on this most inauspiciously horrific night, the alpha's greatest looming fear has finally become the harsh reality that the Rainier Pack has inevitably been doomed to face. Their true identities have come to light, and it probably won't be too long before Demon Lord Bezarius becomes aware of it; eventually realizing that the Rainier Pack has acquired the missing daughter of the Luna of the Romanian Shadow Hunter Pack ... the last known Acrilian werewolf pack in existence decimated by the Demon Lord's forces ... the she-wolf child that Demon Lord Bezarius has had his subordinates and minions relentlessly searching for over these past years.

**************

The Rainier Pack's compound is thrown into a chaotic pandemonium during what could only be described as a bloody massacre.

For some inexplicable reason four-year-old Sasha, Teresa's adopted rogue she-wolf ... while at first in her wolf-form ... furiously charges past the sentries escorting the small group of emissaries proclaiming to have been sent by the Clan of the Old Order to bring Katarina, one of Teresa's adopted dampyrs, back to Transylvania on bequest of her great aunt, Countess Esmerelda Ardelean, the Matriarch of their clan.

After agilely skirting past the sentries Sasha menacingly lunges at the emissaries, simultaneously shifting into her Lycan-form, then proceeds to viciously rip open their throats in some sort of maniacally frenzy. Deeply embedding those elongated razor-sharp claws jutting out of her fingertips into the flesh of their necks, Sasha makes it a point to pierce through and sever each carotid artery and jugular vein, causing the blood to gushingly spurt out from the torn vessels.

But the carnage doesn't end there.

Sasha then savagely dismembers their bodies, tearing the limbs from their joints, using nothing other than her brute strength. After that, she begins to disembowel all of the bloodied torsos, strewing intestines and organs haphazardly about. The surrounding ground is soon covered in pools of blood and piles of mangled flesh.

The sentries are totally shocked by this barbarically heinous act, only able to respond instinctively as if reacting in an automatic-pilot mode. They rush in from all directions and attempt to grab hold and restrain the rampaging feral-like she-wolf; but to no avail utterly fail in doing so. Instead, they find themselves being tossed about like a bunch of ragdolls at the merciless hands of Sasha. However, although she makes no attempt to hold back her overwhelming physical prowess, Sasha refrains from using fatal force while manhandling the Rainier Pack wolves.

Once the essentially one-sided murderous assault comes to its end, Sasha shifts back into her human-form; calmly standing before the recently battered and highly confounded sentries as if nothing had happened. Sasha is unclothed yet covered from head to toe in blood.

The sentries warily approach the now seemingly passive child, trying to prepare themselves to counter any kind of attack Sasha may spring upon them should she suddenly become violent again. But luckily, this doesn't happen; instead, Sasha remains extremely docile, looking almost as if she were in a trancelike state. Once walking up upon her without incident, they immediately take custody of her ... tightly grasping hold of her arms and legs ... and quickly carry Sasha off to the compound's detention center.

Sasha is brought to a solitary cell located on the lowest sub-level of the detention center and securely bound in heavy chains crafted from a special steel and iron alloy; specifically designed to keep even the most powerful of werewolves from being able to break them. They then strap a full-face muzzle constructed of the thickest and sturdiest leather they have available to Sasha's head. As they did this, Sasha put up no resistance whatsoever, remaining totally calm while allowing the guards to constrain her in this manner.

While Sasha was being restrained at the detention center, Gamma Raymond Silva ... who oversees the Rainier Pack's security and defenses ... rushes over to the alpha's mansion; where Alpha Julian Thurgood, Beta Stephen Caldwell, and Delta Colin Thompson have been waiting in the alpha's private study to meet with the emissaries. All heads sharply turn to the study's door as Gamma Ray bursts in loudly exclaiming...

"Sasha ... she's gone completely mad!"

Perplexed expressions instantly overtake the countenances of the pack's three highest-ranking wolves. Alpha Julian immediately asks in a demanding tone...

"What do you mean Sasha's gone completely mad? What are you talking about, Ray? Tell me, now."

The gamma takes in a breath to try to compose himself so to be able to speak in a calmer fashion...

"Sasha ... my Alpha ... she attacked the emissaries that came for Katarina."

The alpha's visage appears even more perplexed than before...

"What do you mean Sasha attacked the emissaries ... why would she do such a thing?"

"I have no idea, my Alpha. I wasn't there when it happened, so all I can do now is merely inform you what was reported to me."

Beta Stephen interjects, "I must admit I'm a bit confused here, Ray. Sasha's four-years-old, a mere child; and a small one at that. How could she possibly attack a group of grown men? And I'm assuming they were being escorted by some of our own sentries?"

The gamma nods. The Beta continues...

"Then how could Sasha have attacked them? I mean, how bad could they have really been hurt by such a tiny, little girl?"

There's a brief momentary silence before the gamma sheepishly informs them, "They're all dead."

All three of them are instantly taken aback and, as if in unison, their mouths become fully agape as their jaws drop open. And after another brief momentary silence ... this time caused by an utter disbelief of what has been said ... the alpha asks with an underlying incredulous tone...

"They're all dead? You mean ... Sasha actually killed all of them ... by herself?"

Again, in a sheepish manner, the gamma informs the alpha...

"Julian, Sasha just didn't kill them ... she torn them to pieces."
