It was dusk when Lily started to wake up her cheeks feeling a lot better as she scooted out of bed then was jerked back by strong arms. "Hey! I'm not leaving, but my bladder is full!" Lilly said as she started tickling her. She tried to wrap her tails around him gripping his arms, but when she turned to see his face he had a devilishly heated look. He arch an eye brow questioning whether I was going to actually stop him with my tails.
"Don't give me that look. I was going to be right back. Honestly you can be...." Lily tried to say as he leaned in stealing a kiss from her. She started giggling as her tails loosened and he trailed kisses down her neck to his mark. Stopping for a moment to admire it he said, "I think you'll like this one. It compliments your skin well." Letting her go Lily scooted across the bed heading for the bathroom. Moving to the mirror she could see a full dragon beautifully resting on her shoulder and chest wrapping around to her back on her left side. The dragon looked exactly like Dimitri's.
Dimitri walks in leaning on the door as Lily admires the mark he left on her. "It would seem you being a goddess always you to show who your mates are. I've seen several markings before, but none as intricate as the one's I'm seeing on you." Lily turned smiling at him as she walked over putting her arms around his neck. "Until my mother decided to reveal herself I never knew having multiple mates was possible. So the thought of mating you always confused me, but now I'm glad to know I'm different and for a good reason too."
Dimitri pulled her in close leaning in catching her luscious scent nuzzling into her neck close to his mark. "So am I." In the back of her mind she heard a whisper of her name. Lily? You awake? Where are you? I'm in your room. Lily hesitated to answer when she heard Dimitri answer, We are in my room. We're about to head back to her's in a few moments. Max took a moment to answer saying, Lets meet in your office. Wade is well and will be with me. Try not to scar him for once Lily.
Lily coughed looking away from Dimitri acting innocent with a mischievous smile. We'll be there shortly. Cutting the connection she looked to Dimitri wondering how he could answer Max through the mind link. "Lets get dressed. I thought you had to pee?" Dimitri asked as Lily skipped to the bathroom taking care of her needs. "Do you still have some of my cloths in your closet?" Lily asked walking into his closet seeing him button up his shirt. He was half way done before she stopped him looking over her mark on his chest and neck moving her hand along the edge. It was a wolf and a raven similar to Max's, but this one was as if they were on a hunt running/flying as they went. Interesting.
Lily was getting more and more curious about her mother as she meets each of her mates. There was more to going on then she knew, but would find out one way or the other. Dimitri grabbed her hand kissing her palm causing her heart to flutter. "Yes you cloths are where they will always be. One of my mothers maid tried throwing them away, but I caught her as she started. If anythings missing let me know and I'll take you shopping." He loved to buys her the occasional gift since they didn't see each other often. Now he'll have more opportunity to spoil her like she needed.
Lily kissed his cheek walking over to her side of the closet seeing what she had left there. Of course she didn't have much, but he added a few things she mentioned in passing that she liked or was saving for. "You know this is cheating right? Half of this I didn't pay for," Lily said shaking her head chuckling to herself as she chose some high waisted pants that had some give, A white tunic top with a dark blue corset with knife compartments and some study boots. Seeing that she left her long dark brown leather coat from her last visit she grabbed it then her hat to complete the look. She used one of her new claws to cut a hole for her tails to fit through her pants as well as the top brim of her hat for her ears.
Dimitri was dressed similarly a tactical vest over his shirt then a dark jacket. He slide a couple knives into his boots then grabbed a couple of medium size marbles in his pocket. He handed her a wrapped up cloth as he moved to the door, "Here I didn't get rid of them, like you told me. I couldn't. I knew you might need them again."
She unwrapped the cloth seeing two short swords, the ones she first trained with him with. She got her ass beat more times then she liked, but she never gave up kept learning. Holding these swords again felt like an old friend saying hello again. Taking them both out of there sheaths the performed a couple of moves getting the feeling back from them. "Oh yeah. I'm glad you didn't melt them like I told you. I have missed them."
He smiled standing at the door waiting for her to walk out. "Come one, You wolfman is anxious I can feel it from here." Dimitri said as she tied the swords on her hips leaving his room. Moving through the halls the servant bowed to her or moved out of her way as they made their way to his office. He opened the door for her and Max and Wade stood in the sitting area waiting for them. Lily walk over to Max kissing him in greeting.
Everyone sat down as Dimitri began to explain, "Lily for the last few years I have been looking into the whereabouts of your "guardian family". After speaking with Max yesterday we might have a lead in the northern mountains. They have been uninhabited for decades now, but would be a good place to hide." Wade and Max were both nodding in agreement as Lily listened, "Now that you are all healed up we should be able to go take a scouting trip to see what's there."
"There's one other thing as well. My father told me before I left that he's known who you were the whole time. He thought he had an ace in the whole but when you left for school he had no reason to hold you back," Max said watching Lily reaction. At first Lily didn't know how to react, but as she thought about it the more she got mad. "That son or a b*tch! HE knew the whole time who I was and kept it from me? What about you?! If he knew there's no way you didn't!" Lily shouted stand up. "What the f*ck, Max?! Why? Why would you kept this from me?"
Max tried to say something, "At first I didn't know, but as we got older I noticed things and just didn't say anything. I thought I was doing you a favor! Please! I wasn't trying to hide anything." Wade looked shocked while Dimitri looked coldly at him none of which was helping him.
"Go home Max. We'll handle this. Don't you have an alpha ceremony to attend this weekend? Go," Lily said looking dejected by his revelation. "Go! Right now I need some space," Lily said walking to the balcony door of Dimitri's office. Wishing to fly away she felt wings sprout from her back as she opened the doors. "No! Wait! Don't do this!" Max shouted.
"Lily wait!" Dimitri said as she jumped off dropping for a moment then soaring into the rising sun.
